No book introductions, references, etc. but I was not looking for that. It does have translation notes. Great plus is that it is Filament enabled which i wanted. So no need for more information. I just wanted a bible to read everyday in the evening. I have different bibles to do deep study in. It doesn't have any ribbon markers but I can always add these. I really do love this bible.
