Great customer service and well made product
The first unit I ordered was delivered on its side and repacked in a larger Amazon box with no additional packing. The OEM box is clearly labeled with this side up, fragile, etc. The packaging seemed good and there is a sticker on the unit that says if the unit was delivered on its side to upright and let stand for 6 hours before powering on and using. I did that but the unit was pretty loud. Compressor and vibration noises. I contacted the company and they responded right away. They had me check a couple things then quickly sent a replacement. The replacement delivered by Amazon arrived upside down this time... I let the unit sit upright for about 8 hours before powering up again. Luckily, this one works great. It's really quiet and does an awesome job in my basement maintaining the humidity. I have a large basement that had a mold remediation done recently. The basement has an unfinished utility room with a crawl space and a finished side that includes a bathroom and bar. I like to move the unit between the bar area and the unfinished side occasionally. The caster wheels don't roll over the carpet very well, but it's easy enough to pick it up and carry. The tank is easy to remove and has a nice handle on it. The controls are easy to use. It looks and feels well built! The humidity sensor seems to be pretty accurate and matches up well with my separate Wifi humidity sensors that I have put in the basement. I've been using the unit for a couple of weeks and would recommend it to anyone. Their customer service was awesome too!

What a huge help!
It's definitely been a good while since we had to get a new humidifier for our basement, ours had done it's best but couldn't keep with the moisture like we wanted. I did some research and kept coming back to this model by AEOCKY store. The first thing that I noticed was the SQ feet this one would cover. It's almost twice the amount of our last one- probably why it under-performed in hindsight. Now that we've got this up and running in our basement- it has done an incredible job balancing the moisture in the air- keeping it drier and this aids in our storage in the basement. We have pictures and arts/crafts downstairs, so I didn't like the amount of moisture as it was having a negative impact on those things. All I can say is this is an excellent dehumidifier - made with durable material. I'm quite impressed. Below, I will outline some of the other factors I considered which ultimately led me to this one. *Design: Simplistic design- Continuous operation- Customize humidity preference- Advanced Rotary Compressor - Dual Drive Energy Star *Functionality: 22 pints a day - energy efficient- Top air outlet for drying *User friendly - this is a very simple dehumidifier to use. *Large Tank 5.7 L for reference *Dimensions for you reference: 14.45"D x 8.66"W x 24.09"H with a weight of 35.1 lbs All in all, I find that the designer did a fantastic job with creating this energy efficient and environmentally conscious dehumidifier, so much they were awarded and ranked top energy efficient in this class so far 2024. Another factor that lends credibility to this brand. The materials are of premium grade. Most importantly is how this dehumidifier has worked in my basement, and I'm here to attest that it has in fact done a great job. Therefore, based on our experience with this dehumidifier, I would surely recommend this to other consumers. Thank you kindly for reading my review. I hope it was informative and helpful. :)

Am I the only one that paid for this? Still impressed
All the other reviews as of this writing were those Vine ones, but I bought this with my own $$. Why did I pick this one? Despite few reviews and Vine recipients at that? - They explicitly note they are using more stringent standards for their ratings - Nerdy engineer details like diameter of tubing - Coatings to mored readily drop water that condenses to where you want it to be - Rotary compressor that made me think it would last longer and be quieter - After much research compressor type dehumidifer is the best at quickly drying very moist air (better than the rotary kind with moisture absorbing material and many many times more effective than the peltier type) and this is going in the bathroom So now I've unboxed it and have been running it for just a little while, my impressions: - Super quiet! They all claim it but I've had top-rated (consumer reports, other reputable) models from frigidare and midea and this is way quieter. I have it on the higher speed and it's just a tiny tad louder than the peltier type I had in there. On the lower speed you can barely hear it. About 30 seconds after turning it on the compressor started, and I could only tell because I was right next to it still examining the buttons. Vibration/noise when compressor on is minimal, which gives me hope that it will last longer too. - Attention to detail: quality and decent length (and included for that matter) drip hose, drip hose to garden hose adapter included, manuals and all other labels etc written as if it were produced in the USA (not sure where it was manufactured actually), sensible design of handles, water bucket thing, control panel with different brightness, auto dim when in bedtime mode, easy to remove filter, large warnings about leaving upright for 6 hours before operating (eep I cheated that time by a few hours)... How well does it remove moisture from air? If I remember and feel like it I may update this review later, but given their "proud engineer" descriptions and attention to detail, I'm very confident it will perform as advertised (and to the new standard to boot) If you're a nerd like me and think the peltier or rotary type are neat, know this: - Peltier types, even with dual elements, are very slow at removing moisture. I've had 3 now and other than being quiet and not using a lot of electricity, they don't do much. Yes I can feel the difference when they are not running for a while but pretty much for enclosed spaces or spaces without a lot of air exchange - rotary type (which has absorbent material) put out a lot of heat as it has to heat the absorbent material to dry it out as the part that absorbed moisture spins (slowly) past the heater. Generating heat is usually the biggest use of electricity (think oven or water heater) so it uses a lot of electricity for the amount of moisture it removes. Mositure removal effectiveness is supposed to be somewhere between the compressor type and peltier type (closer to compressor type). It does work when it's too cold in your space for compressor types to be effective (plus no risk of icing) and when it's cold I guess the heat is a plus. So maybe good for a garage. Also supposed to be very quiet. Having said all that I did purchase a rotary type one (from this brand, coincidentally) just to try cuz I'm a nerd but I haven't received it yet. UPDATE: Awesome at pulling moisutre out of the air. Fill the bucket in well under a day. Anytime I lift up the drain hose flaps where the drain drops into the bucket, the thing is constantly dripping water into the bucket -- like 2 drops a second!

Dehumidifer
This works great. I have a basement that gets unbearably humid in the summer and because of that, lots of mold and mildew. This has really helped. I keep this running 24/7, and the drain hose is so convenient. No more constantly needing to dump the excess water. It's very quiet too. You'd hardly know it's there. I used to have multiple dehumidifiers running to keep things under control, but this has been able to replace some.

Works great with one nitpick
So, let's get right down to it. This dehumidifier works very well. I set it up and got it running almost exactly six hours after it was delivered, and true to the marketing on this unit, it worked great without needing to be set in place for a full day. (Note, this is typically so the refrigerant can settle after being in shipping.) This was great because the humidity in my house on this day was a gross 70%. I left this running overnight for the past 12 hours at max fan speed, and that was enough to nearly fill the water tank, although it did bring the humidity inside down to 50% in that time. (Additional note: It's been raining the past two days and is still damp outside, this thing is fighting against some pretty humid conditions right now.) So, if you live in a super humid area, you may need to empty the water extremely frequently given the size of the water collection tank. Luckily, it does also have options to continuously drain via an included clear tube into the drain of your choice, such as a sink or tub. If your home configuration allows for that and you'll be running this frequently, I do highly recommend that option. In terms of features, there IS a mode that allows you to set a target humidity between a range of 40-60%. Some other modes include a sleep mode which is truly very quiet. In normal operation, this is kind of a quiet hum that's noticeable, but not annoying. Personally, I like some white noise and could even sleep with this on high fan speed in the same room, although I'm used to running fans at night anyway. For most normal people, I think low fan speed is quiet enough for almost anyone, even without using sleep mode. The control panel is simple to use, easy to read, but also notably, there is a button to adjust the lighting level, all the way to turning the backlights in the control panel off completely if you'd prefer the unit not to light up the area at night. In terms of emptying the water bucket, it pulls out easily and has a little flip-up handle for carrying that you ARE able to grab before the water bucket is fully out of the unit, so you can grab it before the weight of the full bucket actually becomes relevant. Dumping it out was straightforward and quick, since the side of the lid can lift up a bit, allowing you to pour it out that way. I just emptied it into my tub without any issues. Overall, this is a great unit that removes a lot of water from the air quickly while actually having good enough of aesthetics that you don't regret leaving it sitting out, but does have a bit of a small water collection bucket in my opinion if you'll be running it nonstop.

Works as you would hope and solid construction.
I've owned a few similar products and find this one to be in the top. It works as one would expect which is always a plus. The noise level is minimal as it does need to blow air, but nothing loud and my space fan is louder than this is. Dehumidification works pretty quickly as my water container, located on the narrow edge vs wider edge as some have, filled quickly. I have used it several times and, most recently, to reduce the humidity in my three-car garage while I had the interior drywalled. The included hose allows you to keep this running without the need of emptying the bucket but you'll want to have a drain or something to run that into. The hose is less than 1/2' outside diameter but pretty stout. I've had some with larger and some smaller hoses...this is somewhere in the middle.

Incredibly Efficient, Magically Quiet
At the time of review this item retails for $159.99 USD. If you leave in a damp space, or want to keep your house at a certain humidity, or like many folks that may have a basement and want to keep it dry - you know what this is for. Dehumidifier have been known to be power hungry, but this guy here.... Oh man... this is a real money saver. Pros - Sturdy construction, solid plastic, the handles are "hidden", you push it in if you need to carry it around - Wheels make moving it super easy, and it isn't super heavy either - INCREDIBLE power savings. Let me just say this over, and over, and over. I have barely seen a hit on my electricity, and I run this 8 hours every single day. Unlike some of the other devices for sale, this using the NEWEST and MORE STRINGENT DOE 2019 regulations, so you know it's legit. - It's MAGICALLY quiet. Can I hear it? Yes. Can I hear it if I am in the next room? Barely. It's a fan/humming noise. Unlike to the previous one that would kick in the compressor and shake the house, this one DOES NOT do that, it runs pretty much like a small fan but you can LITERALLY see the water dropping constant through the INCLUDED hose - The Digital menu is simple: Fan Speed, Constant running, Running in eco mode/set humidity or running in low power mode (real quiet) - If you lose power and the power comes back, it kicks in automatically. I used this as way to schedule my on/off times, I use a smart switch so when it comes back on it runs whatever program I had set and basically saves me from worrying whether it's on or off. - I already mentioned this, but a THICK, and STURDY hose is INCLUDED unlike the other ones out there, which are more expensive and cheap out on this - If you don't want the hose, of course, it will have the bucket with a lid system that I call "peep hole", you lift the handle an carry, and lift the corner to dump the water. This prevents you from dripping water all over the place while you carry it. It will shut off automatically when the bucket is full and it will re-start when the bucket is in place Cons - I really want to find a flaw in this. Is it cheap? No, but the savings you get in electricity will be paid off in absolutely no time. I am total fan boy and can't stop recommending this to all my friends.

Quiet, small, worries great.
This has been working well to remove 1 to 2 buckets of water per 24 hours. Easy to move around, slim design, compared to our older ones it's SUPER quiet, ready to empty, & looks nice. It's a bit pricy but we're glad we choose this one!! I Would recommend ๐๐ผ

Defective and wouldn't work out of the box
Worst ever experience with a dehumidifier. Sat upright without use for the recommend time. Powered up but no display and no functions worked. Just the fan running constantly slow to fast. A dud. To make matters worse its delivered to my door yet the only return option is to drive to another city to the drop off center. What a joke. Never again. After dropping it off for return I drove to a store and bought one. 2yr warranty. Stored upright so was able to run it immediately. Works great and twice the size of the Aeocky yet only a 50pt with a huge water bucket. Update the Aeocky direct and amazon for my hassle gave me gift cards to compensate for my time and gas spent to return it. That said the size of the unit doesn't equate with the 5500sq/ft or 105 pints/daily. Even larger models haven't those specs. None of them last more than 2yrs so the 3yr warranty is better but what you have to do to get repairs or a replacement is a lot of work. Please check out Aeocky website to know what they request to get warranty service.

Great little guy, all the settings you could need, energy efficient and quiet options.
I really can't find anything to complain about with this guy. From the way it is safely packaged in it's box, to how easy it is to move around and set up, to how it does what it is supposed to do! The unit weighs about 37 lbs, and has two fold-in handles on the sides to carry it around. Even for myself (who has hand issues), this is much nicer than my older unit, that seems to weigh a tonne. To compare, I set it up next to my old unit (7 years old) at first, and it does measure a bit different than my old unit does (difference of usually +- 3%), but since I have no way of knowing which is correct, I am guessing the newer one is more accurate. Things that stand out for me on this unit are the many drainage options for example. It has a little inside collector, as well as comes with a drainage hose, plus a garden hose adapter (for 5/8") for even longer drainage needs. Being quite slim, not weighing too much, and having all these drainage options means you can truly place him just about anywhere for your dehumidifying needs. It is energy efficient (again, not something I can test exactly, but it does have it's sticker), and also has enough set-up options for various needs. The Quick Start Guide included is very helpful, and comes with all the details you need in a quick glace. The instruction booklet has everything else, and is easy to follow and understand. The mode settings let you chose whatever fits best; Continuous, Sleep, Constant, Smart Drying, Auto. You can also adjust things like fan speed, the lighting, add a child lock and adjust the timer setting. Turning the light off is amazing for using it in your bedroom, and the different light indicators let you quickly see what is going with the machine. The unit also has an automatic defrost, as well as beeps politely when the water tank is full. I know from some units, that the air can smell a bit off when you first start it up, but this guy had none of that. The pre-filter is also easily accessible, and can be cleaned quickly with fresh water. Something that should be done every couple of weeks. I have to say, that I love the air downstairs in my house right now, and feel that it is much fresher than what it gave with the old unit. It describes the company/and unit somewhere as 'made for geeks by geeks', and when you start looking into all the reasons why this unit is as good as it is, I feel like you do need someone more engineering adapt than me, but what I can say, is that it does what I want it to do. That it is way more quiet than my old unit, leaves the rooms feeling great, and is easily adjustable, movable and has been working great so far. They offer a usual 30 day return window, as well as an extra 30 days for returns and exchanges somehow. Plus the unit has a 3 year warranty for the machine, and 5 years for the compressor. I am giving this unit a full 5 Stars, and will update this post, if anything changes in the year to come.

Awesome dehumidifer, quiet and very easy to drain
This is a great dehumidifer, I especially appreciate how easy it is to drain when its full of water. and it has a lot of quality of life features. It's a nice size, about as compact as you can get while still being useful. The fans have different settings, and the lower ones are pretty quiet. It might still be hard to sleep with one of these in your bedroom, but it's just white noise and there is a "night" setting. It's by no means silent, but I'm glad they tried at least. For drainage, the tub sits securely inside the base of the machine, but it's easy to remove. Of course you can also attach a drainage/garden hose if you'd like, but in my situation I prefer emptying the tub from time to time. The tub has its own handle and a bit of a spout built into the design so it's easy to carry and pour outside or into a sump pump, etc. Much preferable to the older style where it's just a plastic bin with no handle that fills up too high and sloshes around when you move the machine. When it's full, there's a magnetic float inside the tube that will trigger the sensor, and the machine will shut itself off and display the FL code. The fans don't turn off immediately, it's a bit weird, but they will turn off and the machine will be disabled until you empty the tub, to prevent flooding. There are two things I found a bit weird about this unit, but they're not big enough to affect its usability. First off, the humidity percentage is consistently like 20% higher on the machine than any other hygrometers I have around. 5-10% variance is expected, but that's a bit weird. Honestly doesn't matter to me, since for my use I just have it set to come on at about 65% and that seems to keep my room around 38-40%. Strange, but it's consistently inconsistent so at least it's manageable. The other thing that's a bit annoying though is that on the "keep my room at this percentage humidity" mode you can only have the high or low fan setting, but it doesn't let you use the "night" quieter fan setting. I really wish it did, because the low setting is just loud enough to be distracting if it comes on during a phone call or meeting, and I wouldn't mind it running a bit longer if it were quieter. Oh well, it's still much quieter than the old (reliable but clunky) dehumidifier that it replaced, and it only comes on when needed in the mode I've set it in. There are other settings for constant on, as well as "auto" but I prefer the "keep my room at this percentage" mode as I said above. And there's a setting for drying, which would be great if your basement floods, or if you have it in a musty room that you're trying to reclaim. Also pretty useful if you have to air dry clothes inside, for instance. The casters on the bottom make for easy movement, and there are little handles on the sides to make carrying it easier. Very handy if you have to move it around, it's not that heavy either. The display is nice and bright (although you can adjust it/turn it off depending on your preferences) and the touch panel interface is very easy to interact with. The buttons take a bit of getting used to, but once you use it for a bit it'll start making more sense. Overall it's a well designed machine that has already proved itself to be useful in after a couple weeks of use. I'm very impressed, I didn't know if it would really be a good replacement for the old one I had, but it's pretty much better and more convenient in every way, and I will not miss having to empty the old machine's water bucket. Not sure if the price is reasonable, but I think so for what you're getting. Anyway I'm a fan and I think this is one of the better if not one of the best portable dehumidifiers on the market right now.
