I purchased this for my sons birthday and it was simply perfect. I love this product because I know it can build on itself into different play scenes to spur imagination!Side note: this item was posted with an extreme discount initially, one of the reasons I jumped on the purchase. The seller, canceled my order without notifying me. I notified amazon immediately and they still honored the price as they could see on their end what had happened. This was my first time purchasing from Sarah’s Silks, and while I love the product I’m not sure I would purchase anything else from them.

I had been looking for a simple collapsible play structure for our limited apartment space to replace a play tent that took way too much effort to construct and always got too hot because of the polyester cover.This playframe is half of that in that the frame itself is included but no cover. We used a blanket and/or table cloth with the Sarah’s Silks play clips to very good effect. My three year old loves this. In the interim to having her new toddler bed shipped, we had the play frame with a blanket constructed around her mattress as a temporary house bed. First time she has ever gladly gone to bed in her entire life.The frame ships in individual wood pieces that have to be fitted and screwed together. It took a little longer than expected to coordinate them because of the necessity of matching each side so that it fits together properly, but once attached they feel very sturdy and like they will last. The wood itself is smooth and has been sanded and finished.The Velcro joints are a nice touch that allow for flexibility in storing and constructing the frame either as it comes, or in attaching multiple frames to one another. They take a little getting used to/double checking to make sure the Velcro is pulled taut to secure the frames. Once secured, we’ve had no issues with it toppling over during play. It’s also very large, much larger feeling than the average play tent.Storage is not quite as compact as tents with plastic poles, but this play frame is sturdier and the individual frames can be attached as a stack and slid under a bed or into a closet without any difficulty.Five stars because my three year old truly loves playing and napping in it, and I am impressed by the sheer size. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. It seems like it will stand the test of time and rough play and be ready to pass on to the next kids in years to come.

The Play frame by Sarah’s silk is absolutely perfect for pretend play. My children have spent hours playing underneath it. I love to sit back and watch the magical hideaways they get inspired to come up with. Thier creative minds see endless possibilities. So far ours has been made into a book nook, a tent, a barn, a Viking ship a puppet theater and of course my Tropical babies made it into a cabana perfect for summer ice tea parties. I love the simplicity of this play frame and how it folds away when not in use. My boys 6 and 8 put it together on their own. The most amazing part of the simple design is how it holds up and doesn’t fall over even with a hand full of children playing at the same time.

This is super cute, but definitely not worth 99 dollars! We had a lot of trouble making the parts fit together, and getting the bucket screws to line up. My kids are enjoying playing with it, so that’s the only reason I gave this two stars!

Such a fun, simple toy. Can be rearranged to create different shapes. Last night we made a fort and my kids even wanted to sleep in it.
