I'm completely pleased with this phone. I was a bit worried coming from my Pixel 8, considering all I've had are Pixel devices for years now - but I wanted something I could fold up and make smaller, throw in my bag or pocket without issues and I've heard good things about the Razr. I'm always switching up phones, it's my vice I guess but so far I will say I'm really loving this one. Compared to the Pixel 8, the speed of the device, the battery life, its all very comparable. I don't have any issues with lagging, which I thought might happen, but no issues there. The extra features it adds with the ability to flip open the phone are nice, though I don't use them a ton. I do like the fact that for a number of apps I don't even have to open the phone, I can use them right from my front screen on the device - that's a huge plus for me. Not all of them work perfectly as not all of them are designed for that type of use, but to my surprise many of them work just fine! The hinge/folding part of the screen can be a little noticeable but I expected that, and it doesn't bother me at all while using the phone, scrolling, viewing, etc. The sound on the device is good, clear, I don't see much of a difference vs. my prior Pixel. Now, the one thing you can't compare is the camera. While its acceptable for me on this device, the Pixel blows it away. If that's important to you, take note. The camera is not bad at all honestly - I can just tell the difference, especially when taking pictures in bright light - now maybe that is on me and I need to make adjustments but compared to the Pixel its just not as good. Also, I found it odd that it has preinstalled factory made screen covers - there are multiple warnings stating not to remove them or you void your warranty, etc. So yeah, DON'T remove them. I hope they're strong enough - I worry about what you do when they crack...but I've saved that thought for another day. Overall, I'd say if you're on the fence and you want a folding device like this one, it's a great choice especially for the price.

I have been using my RAZR for 2+ weeks. Have been (and still keeping as a backup) Pixel 7. Bottom line: this has surpassed my expectations. My primarily reason for wanting a razr is because of size and compactness, it's so much easier to carry and there are no small phones any more (I'd jump at something like iPhone 4 size). Vs the Pixel, I give up Pixels unique phone filtering setup for intercepting callers, it's superb voice mail intercept and transcription. Also photo editing capability can't match pixel. And while the speed is plenty good enough for me, I can sense slight lag in opening launching some apps, not a big deal. Some people complain about the crease... It's basically unnoticeable for me. Open, it feels real smooth like a large slab. I'm not a rough user but I sense the close mechanism is really well designed, satisfying to open and close. After years of slippery phones, the 2024 faux leather texture is just a pleasure and beautiful to look at. I have a couple of cases and they're pretty good, but often to minimize size in the pocket I don't see a case... In which case it feels much more safe than a regular slab phone with big glass area. Day to day it's been a real pleasure to use. My original intent was to swap SIM onto Pixel when I need the latter's functionality. But I've found I use the RAzr 100 percent of time now. I didn't go for 2025 Razr since only apparent plus was supposedly more secure fringe.... But the draw back is that the 2025 has a more slippery back. Also came with Android 14 but easily upgraded to Android 15. Couldn't be happier with this Mot!

This phone is so convenient! I like that it folds so small. I bought it new and it came in pristine condition. The battery last about 2 days for me, and it was unlocked, so I was able to connect it easily with my metro account.

I love my Motorola RZR. Being able to fold it, put it in my back pocket, and not worry about it sticking up or falling out is everything. I got myself a nice large screen, but that doesn't mean my phone has to be huge. The outside screen is great for quick messages, having the time handy, that sort of stuff. I also really like being able to use the phone camcorder style, allowing me to stay steady with my hands. Definitely worth every penny. I used to be an Apple phone person, but honestly I am so hard on my phones. I bought this one because my horse stepped on my last phone. Lol That was a Motorola g Stylus-also a great phone! May it RIP. Point being, I am not dropping $900 or more on a phone that I know I will damage eventually (Queen of Klutz). For $399 this phone is fantastic and I couldn't be happier.

I want to make this review without making it too long I got this phone on the 7th not going to speak about the whole process of getting this because it was a little stressful but never the last I received this phone brand new good condition and might I say beautiful but ... Please note that there's nothing wrong with my external screen I have a screen protector on it. I'm no newbie to setting up a new phone so I'm going to all the quirks setting it up as well as doing all of my customization to the phone internally wise. I get to the section of personalization in the settings to go and switch and change my clock face to my shock in horror it's not working I go and reset the phone I reset the factory settings I did it all something told me to go on Google to see if I could find this issue so I did and lo and behold I find a lot of post about the clock face spamming two months back on how they could not change their clock face from the four digital analog numbers on the front which is the most ugly is clock that Android 14 came out with lol So me being me I contact Motorola themselves I go through hell for 5 days trying to get a straight answer I'm sent from technician to technician until I got sent to one that was above a technician level two he takes full control over my phone remotely and he sees what I'm seeing He's just as shock as I am but I'm telling him this is coming from the latest Android 14 update which came with the security update from September 1st everyone on Reddit was saying the exact same thing that their clock face stop working when it update was applied from what he was saying and what I was trying to tell him it was nothing that he was could do I just wanted him to get eyes on it so it can be noted and to show that this situation is really going on because from them they kept trying to make it seem like it wasn't happening or they had no knowledge of this happen needless to say given the fact that I can't use or change the clock face for the internal screen of the phone is pretty disheartening giving the fact that this is a brand new phone but give him Motorola's track record on updates unfortunately anyone that does have this issue with this particular phone will have to wait other than that like I said before the phone is beautiful it works fall asleep The battery life is immaculate It's just that small little customization error that needs to be fixed I was pretty upset about it but everything else that the phone does made up for me not being able to use my clock face properly also on the Motorola 2023 version there's a bug where you can change the clock face but you can't change the color it won't save it some people are blaming it on Google while others are blaming on Motorola themselves I don't know who's the blame I just wanted to be fixed but yeah... That's why I'm only giving this four stars instead of five

I was absolutely delighted when I first bought this phone; the color was exactly to my liking, and its compact, portable design meant I could slip it into my pocket—unlike other bulky phones—making it feel incredibly convenient. Because I really love this phone, I’ve taken very good care of it. However, less than a year and a half after purchasing it, the screen failed. During that period, I spent ten months abroad, which means I barely even used the phone at all; I never expected the build quality to be so poor. I’ve since consulted a repair technician, and I was told that the cost of replacing the screen is equivalent to buying a brand-new phone. I’d like to offer a word of advice to anyone considering this model: think twice before you buy. Furthermore—since this is a foldable phone—constantly opening and closing it places stress on the screen; eventually, you may find that cracks begin to appear. Honestly, I never never so disappointed to a phone

Had this phone for a while now and it's really great having an external screen where you can do simple texts, check the time, or do emails. When open, it's a good size and while the fold is kinda noticeable if you look for it, you don't notice it with content on the screen when looking at it. That's a judgement call depending on expectations. I've been lucky to have not have issues with the crease, but after 18 months, I do get a little "crackle" now and then when opening, but it has no effect on anything that I've noticed. It's nice to fold it and throw it in my back pocket without concern and sit on it. Got tired of how the newer phones are just getting larger and larger and need a backpack to hold them. I just need a phone to do text, a few apps, and an occasional phone call. This one is perfect for that and it gives you a good screen if you need a bit more. If you're a fan of the old RAZR v3 or the older V60, you won't be disappointed with this!

Bought the phone mostly because of the screen and the form factor at this price point. Purchased in orange. Feels really good and looks even cooler. Overall a good experience. Phone flips open very easily one handed but doesn’t feel flimsy. Very snappy during day to day and all of my apps work on the outside screen, including apps that I couldn’t get to work on the z flip 5. Battery is darn good, but testing still in progress. The crease is almost non existent when in use Now my nitpicks. - Was promised a very bright screen (3000 nits at certain times I believe)…my iPhone 13 is brighter , so not sure what’s going on there - given the flip action you’ll be using your thumb to slide the phone open for daily use, prepare for the fingerprints. Not sure how good the oleophobic coating is, but in direct sunlight I’m just staring at a greasy plastic screen with unreadable text. - games that fly on my iPhone 13, barely run on this thing. Not sure if it’s a mediatek chip or an app issue. - mediocre photo quality during the day,, but absolutely terrible during the night. - video quality is not a term I would use as there is no quality, it stutters, hiccups, artifacts, blown out colors. Definitely not the phone for video. - not sure if this phone will ever get updates, given Motos track record. Overall a good phone. Maybe at 599 this would be a must have, but for this price, I might just spend the extra 100 for a galaxy s24 and get an amazing camera, a bunch of artificial intelligence and a way brighter screen …but that’s just me. If you absolutely need a flip phone at a decent price and decent performance while not taking any video or pictures in non ideal conditions i would buy this.

Si estás familiarizado con la marca de Motorola, es una excelente compra y es un plus la versatilidad de tener un cell plegable. Pero si vienes de otros ecosistemas (One UI, Pixel UI, HyperOS, etc) te vas a sentir bastante limitado y vas a extrañar las configuraciones y gestos de sistemas más intuitivos. Fuera de eso, Moto razr es un aparato veloz, cómodo y roba miradas.
