Flea Killer Trap Electric Invalid and Unsafe Repel-Pesticides

We recently got 2 kittens - turns out they came with some free extras! Wasn't long before my eldest (teenage) daughter started to get bites. No one else was affected (I have 2 other children under 10) but my eldest took one kitten to bed with her every night so we assumed that was the reason she was the worst affected.Bought flea spray, flea collars, spot on treatment and all the usual stuff but when I got this lamp and could see a real physical result of the treatment I was amazed.I am really embarrassed to share this photo review but since you're reading this you probably have the same issue and I feel it's important to show this visual.Turned the lamp on for a few hours in every room. From the living room, kitchen, bathroom, my bedroom, the 2 younger girls bedroom and the hallway it picked up 4 fleas and 1 larvae. Finally, I took the lamp to my eldest daughter's room. Wow. Within a couple of hours it had picked up over 20 fleas. Her room has now been fully fumigated and I'm extremely glad I bought this lamp!

item was describe, perfect, did the job, good quality ,but the bulbs do not last very long if left on all the time , just turn them of every other day or put them on a timer. received items before estimated delivery date recommended seller AAA+++

I bought this so i didn't have to use as many chemicals around my daughter and while it does catch fleas and their younger states it doesn't last long. The first bulb blew after three days. I contacted the seller and got two replacements sent free of charge. One broke after i dropped the flea catcher not hard on a carpeted floor which is my fault i suppose but after placing the next bulb in it blew after about a week. Only buy this if you want to constantly replace bulbs

Arrived promptly. Had some difficulty putting sticky pad down first time but that was my own fault for not reading the instructions. I was a bit dubious about whether it would work, but we have caught so many fleas, and it has really reduced them together with other methods such as treating the pets and daily vacuuming, they are a great way to monitor the situation on a daily basis. We now have them in each room so we can act quickly if there is a problem. We how've not yet had to change a bulb and they have been on constantly for over a month.

Put it down and it's caught 4 fleas so far over 3 nights.We have 2 cats and both are regularly treated for fleas each month but unfortunately I think they are bring the odd one in from outside.Bought this to catch them as and when we see them, but sometimes overnight it does not catch the flea I saw.But as an alternative to spraying for just one or two I think its ok.

Very flimsy. One of the struts broke when I was putting it together and the instructions for fitting the bulb holder weren't clear. You have to remove the sleeve and push the holder and bulb through the hole then put the sleeve back on - rather like fitting a lamp shade. Also, the bulb fitment is not terribly good - every time I moved the trap the light went out. I managed to get it to stay on and haven't touched the trap since. The sticky sheets are VERY sticky and be warned once something is stuck on it remains stuck. The plastic wrapper got stuck on mine and I eventually had to cut off the bits that were sticking up, leaving the stuck part, firmly stuck on. So far, have only caught one little moth, no fleas. Not sure it that is because there aren't any or what but I only put it together on Saturday.

I was recommend this by a friend so thought I would give it ago as it wasn't expensive it arrived on time although the box was damaged the product was fine , easy to put together and yes it does work ,I didn't leave it on while I wasn't at home as it can get very warm !

Bought this to check we'd killed off all the fleas but the bulb broke after less than 24hrs of being turned on. No a very reliable product and struggling to find replacement bulb now.
