Beneficial Vitamin D-3

good, but are tablets, not gel caps
these are good supplements, but I thought they were the gel caplets, but they are just regular powder tab pills. I think their picture is incorrect on the add.

I like this brand, and I like the tablets
I like the tablets (these), I much prefer them over the seemingly more common "soft gels", which stick together, and sometimes smell weird. I worry about the soft gels leaking. Why not just use solid tablets? So I bought these.I like this brand, mostly because the price seems fair, but they ARE a brand with a reputation, not an absolute no-name generic that might be very low potency, and if they ever do get caught by Consumer Reports or similar, they just change the name.Vitamins are poorly regulated in the US, but I know one thing: This particular brand of vitamin D kept my blood level of 1,25-(OH)2-D3 at healthy levels in March of 2024, and back in March of 2019 on no-name vitamin D, my blood level was deficient. I doubt sun exposure contributes much during the winter, so my blood levels in March are likely reliant on supplements. These have no discernible taste or smell. They don't shed powder, they are completely unmarked. I wish they had letters and numbers on them, I am wary of totally unmarked pills, but alas, this is common for vitamins.I plan to continue using this brand of vitamin D, but I will also get periodic blood tests because I have been deficient in the past even while taking pills (a different brand).
