I absolutely love this Echo Dot! One of my favorite features is that you can customize the color of the clock display, which makes it easy to match my space. I chose the black version because it fits perfectly with my black, white, and beige office aesthetic. The sound quality is great for its size, and the volume gets surprisingly loud. I also really like being able to see the time and when music is playing on the display—it’s a small feature, but I find it very useful throughout the day. Setup was incredibly easy. Connecting it to the Alexa app only took a few minutes, and everything worked right away. The only feature I wish it had is the ability to display photos, but I understand that’s not what this model is designed for. Even without that, it’s an excellent smart speaker, and I’m very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely love my new echo spot! I got it because I had an ugly alarm clock on my nightstand and I wanted to replace it with a cute one that went with my stuff. I already had an Echo Dot so I knew that I liked this speaker and I loved the look of this display screen so it’s an amazing upgrade. It was super easy to set up and customize as well as connecting it to my phone was really easy. I have not had any issues with responsiveness or voice recognition. Every morning, I use it to turn on my lights and it works really well as well as the sound quality is great. If you are considering getting an echo spot, I would definitely recommend it.

Imagine waking up, looking at your clock to see if it's a good time to get out of bed, and instead of the time you see a video ad... and that's why the Echo Show 5 is, at least now, a poor choice for a bedside alarm clock. So, enter the Spot, thanks to a low upgrade price. First impressions are good - has everything I want and need from the device - clock, weather, alarm, ability to play music and news - and none of what I don't - NO ADS! (At least not yet, hopefully never.) All I had to do to get it set up was plug it in - everything was done automatically. It's a good size, and the clock looks good with some options and is easily readable from across the room. The sound is OK and if I want more I have it paired via bluetooth with a stereo system, just like my Show 5 was. The screen is actually a small square - it's not the entire upper half of the device as it may appear - might be nice if it was but for the lower upgrade price it's fine, with good color, quality and animations. I was so frustrated with my Show 5 displaying ads and yelling at it to "SHOW THE CLOCK" only for it to quickly go back to an ad that I had started unplugging it. So while the Spot may be seen as a "downgrade," for me it's actually an upgrade.

Best Echo by far and on sale it's a steal! I got mine and IMMEDIATELY ordered a second one. Having the clock moved my echo front and center and eliminated my ancient alarm clock. You can adjust the brightness and clock face/colors on the spot. I am old and even I can see it and READ IT with no glasses. Win. It has a night mode that you set the times for, dims the screen so you can sleep. I like that. Played some music on it, wow. Way good sound for a tiny device. There is a dock available with USB ports also ( don't need it so no review) if you have a speaker or device you needs power it's covered with the dock. A well thought out device. I liked the Pop because you can see the blue notification light when it comes on. Right on the front where it should be. This is the same. The other echo ball things suck, you can't see when it lights up good enough. Buy this one. A clock that the time is always right on, weather icons, custom clock face. Yeah this is the only echo I am using now. It's that good and I have 6 echos. Had them the first year they were released to replace my Google nest mini device that would not work. I have an echo show, does blink camera live video. That's the only thing the spot can't do. But the spot has the clock up and you can read it, all the time. Spot wins. Best Echo, no question. A+ Amazon. Btw Amazon the blink app sucks, errors so much. There now you believe me since it's not all Amazon fluff and praise. This device is awesome.

Bought this for the kitchen, for MYSELF to use well cooking and baking so i didnt have to worry about Dirtying up my phone or other timers or when I want to swap music. Love the screen and that it shows the time or tasks I asked it to do. My only complaint is theres no way of locking it so others cant mess with it

I picked up the Echo Spot in Ocean Blue to use as a bedside clock, and it has been a fantastic addition to my nightstand. The design is sleek, compact, and the blue color looks wonderful. Limited functionality but is a nice little device. Purchased for my mother who is quite the technophobe, but wanted a device to play the radio and music. This has been working very well for her.

Utilizo este Echo Spot principalmente en el dormitorio y la experiencia ha sido excelente. El tamaño me parece ideal para una mesita de noche, ya que ocupa poco espacio y tiene un diseño discreto que se integra fácilmente en la habitación. La calidad de la pantalla es muy buena. Resulta sumamente útil para consultar la hora, el clima, temporizadores y otra información, además de aportar un aspecto agradable y moderno sin ser llamativa. La interfaz es sencilla y fácil de entender. Otro punto destacado es el sonido. Para un dispositivo de este tamaño ofrece un audio equilibrado y con muy buena calidad, más que suficiente para escuchar música o contenido en streaming. La integración con las diferentes plataformas es muy sencilla y Alexa ha funcionado perfectamente desde la configuración inicial, sin problemas de conectividad ni de uso. La interfaz cambia para hacerte saber que el micrófono está desactivado o no. Considero que el precio está justificado por las prestaciones que ofrece. Existen alternativas de otras marcas con precios superiores que ni siquiera cuentan con pantalla o con un ecosistema tan completo. En mi experiencia, es un dispositivo muy bien logrado y una excelente opción para quienes buscan un reloj inteligente con asistente de voz y buen sonido para el dormitorio.

El diseño de este ultimo echo (spot) es increible, yo lo compre en blanco por el contraste del negro de la pantalla, pero estoy seguro que en los demás colores de igual manera se verá muy bonito. Hablando de funcionalidades: - Básicamente funciona de igual manera que cualquer otro echo/alexa, aunque puede variar una que otra cosa debido a la nueva pantalla integrada. - Las animaciones que se muestran en diferentes ocasiones (al pasar un minuto en el rejol, al poner musica, al crear una alarma, etc., etc.) son muy bonitas, puedes personalizar tanto el reloj con diferentes diseños (que probablemente con el tiempo se agreguen más) y con diferentes colores (magenta, violeta, verde aqua, azul, naranja y lima). - La pantalla es táctil/touch y por esto, puedes acceder a configuraciones rapidas dentro del mismo Echo Spot (para una configuración mas detallada, abre la app de Alexa), ya sea, cambiar el color y diseño del reloj, regular el brillo de la pantalla, bajar/subir volumen, etc., etc. Puntos malos: - El Echo llegó en una bolsa de carton con burbujas (al menos a mi y a varios más) siento que al ser un dispositivo electrónico, debería llegar al menos en una caja de cartón con mucha más protección - La pantalla no es un circulo como se podría pensar, es un rectangulo en el centro de toda la parte negra. Cuando está el brillo alto o al máximo, se notan los bordes de esta. De lo contrario, en espacios obscuros/no tan iluminados, no se nota para nada. Conclusión: Por el precio que esta en este momento a miembros Prime, es una excelente opción. Como se aprecia en las fotos, se nota mas grande que una Alexa con reloj (olvidé el nombre) pero no es tanto como para estorbar, el tamaño es ideal. valió mucho la pena por el simple hecho de ser mucho mas elegante, con mas funcionalidades y obviamente, mas nueva y actualizada. Seguramente con el tiempo se agreguen funcionalidades para facilitar muchas mas tareas. Compra esta Alexa si quieres tener un reloj digital, una bocina de buen sonido y volúmen y obviamente, una asistente para tus tareas :))) Gracias por llegar hasta aqui y espero haber aclarado la mayoria de dudas :))
