I got more than I bargained for with this kit. Very fiddly, you have to make pretty much everything from scratch, staircase, darts for the dart board, potion pots, etc. I think I spent about 28hrs in total putting it together and as you can see from the picture I haven't sired up the LED's yet.Instructions are mostly clear (8/10), but anything you're stuck on is never really critical and can be worked out.PVA glue comes with it, which is good, but I recommend you buy...Superglue, or it will take you forever waiting for pva to dry.Razor bladesTweezersMicro philips screwdriver - size PH000 (available on Amazon)Good scissorsPritt stick can come in handy, but not necessary.If you're impatient, forget it. Brought as a gift. packaging was good quality, the model is very intricate and will take some time to fully construct.

Really disappointed when opened to find several important parts missing

The glue provided was good but the lid shot off a few times when in use and spilt everywhere. Lots and lots of gluing for this one, others I have put together have slots to put all the furniture etc together and fix in place. Lots of added extras not included, that you have to pay extra for, for example the music box and clear box to incase the finished product in. I managed to get through the instructions (as I have a finished product) but they are difficult to follow, unlike others I have used.Having said this very happy with the end result.

I have done many of these types of things but this one was really fiddly. You have to cut out lots and glue everything. The bits that slot in don't do have to be glued. I was doing well with patience but then i came to the music box part. WHERE IS THE MUSIC BOX!!!!!??????. Apparently you have to buy that separately??!!. In future i will stick to book nooks or rokr.
