Nice Beans for a Great Price.
I recently tried these coffee beans, and well they exceeded my expectations. These coffee beans smelt incredible right out of the bag and ground beautifully. Each cup was smooth, flavorful, and honestly better than some coffees I’ve had from actual coffee shops. My only critique is the lack of a roast date, but for the price, the quality was impressive.

My Favourite Coffee Beans
I have tried numerous coffee beans over the past year since purchasing my bean to cup machine (DeLonghi Esam 4200S) but have settled on these as my favourite. I have tried the big brands and generally find them OK but the coffee didn't have enough depth of flavour or strength. I was also finding that by the end of the bag I could hardly taste the coffee. Maybe I was getting used to the coffee or finding it bland once I got used to it. I find that Caffe Roma Royale gives a consistent, strong and flavoursome cup of coffee and am now on my 5th repeat order. I have also tried the Caffe Roma Italia beans but don't find them as good as these. Full marks also to Amazon / Next Day Coffee company for their fast service.

Lovely flavour coffee
The only reason why I have not given this five stars is that I think the P&P terms are excessive. These add 50% to the cost of purchase, which seems crazy. That consideration apart, this is a reasonably-priced, good-quality blend. The beans grind nicely, keep fresh and produce expresso with a good crema and aroma. Not too bitter - I bought some Whittards Italian Expresso beans recently, and the flavour there is entirely described by the word 'acrid'. Much better balance and depth - good general drinking coffee.

Stunned
All the beans in the supermarkets seem to be of a single kind - this has the two - robusta also - and I honestly thought I was back in Rome drinking the best coffee I’ve ever had. New to the home barista craft but even managed a floor on the top! Delighted with myself. Early days - let’s see how the beans keep in the black vacuum flask… but so far- so GOOD !!!
