Why did you choose this product over others?:I bought this after seeing someone’s YouTube channel where they used one of these to bung a down pipe to a water butt so all water was diverted. I was slightly skeptical but they were absolutely right and it is water tight without have any special tools or useful skills.I even fitted it free to my attachment, filled it with water and left it in a bowl in my kitchen overnight as a test. It didn’t leak a drop.I had to buy some extra tranklements as my down pipe is square so I had to convert it to round first with an adapter.I must go in their channel and say thank you. Please remind me if I don’t.

I used this bung on my roof rain water down pipe. The standard waterbutt down pipe conversion kit kept getting blocked by slugs, wasting rain water, I have removed it and replaced it with a pipe that now goes directly into the waterbutt as shown in the attached photo.3 water buts are connect to the main water butt, the 3rd containers a waterbutt pump which is connected to a hose pipe for watering my garden.
