I have been taking Collagen for at least a couple years. Then I had read that using Multi-Collagen would reap more benefits. I do have Chronic Arthritis and throwing everything at it, is in my best interest. Renew had good reviews and was the right price. Keep in mind I had been using Collagen and after I got Renew, there was a VERY Noticeable difference when I was not expecting to actually "Feel" Different. My Knees Popped Less and seemed a bit more Flexible, reducing the pain and aggravation both physically and mentally. If you have Chronic Pain you know what I mean. . The other huge bonus: Wrinkles? --- what Wrinkles? Hair is growing like a weed. And Nails are Thicker and more Pliable. I'm Not a Doctor, and do not play one on TV. I read several reviews for days, I hate to admit, but maybe even a week. I started researching into protein powders to replace a meal in the middle of my day. I looked through all the ingredients, reviews, blog posts and various health websites that I could find. I knew this would be a tough search... to find a powder that wouldn't taste like chalky hell and make me want to pitch it and waste the money I had spent. I only like fruit smoothies and have zero interest in a meal replacement shake of any flavor. Just sounds awful to me, they ALL taste horrible! I knew I needed something that would mix well with fruit smoothies. I kept coming across collagen powders and really liked the reviews on them. The health benefits were enticing and they still offered a good deal of protein. I started doing research on collagen powders alone now and was surprised at how many were out there. I didn't know how I'd pick one to try out. I was thrilled to find a blog of a lady who tried a large variety of collagen powders. She rated them on key factors like: ability to mix(product clumping), texture, after taste etc. It was very helpful. She helped me narrow my selection down based off how well they mixed in with cold drinks, no after taste, no clumping, no chalky flavor or bad odors, which was best for fruit smoothies and of course price. I was amazed at her thoroughness, it was as if I had done the thing myself! So nice to see others as crazed and determined as I am lol. All the specs of WellPath fit the bill for me so I decided to pull the trigger and pray it tasted good enough to disguise it from my dreaded taste buds. I started with one scoop per serving anticipating to dislike the taste, and to my excitment all I tasted was my fruit smoothie! AMAZING! No clumping, no foul odors, no bad tastes, it was perfect! Just like the lady's blog had declared! My next smoothie I crossed my fingers and tried two scoops in my serving. SAME AMAZING TASTE! A MIRACLE! Saying I'm a satisfied customer is an understatement. I am thrilled to have finally found something my palate doesn't reject and that I can add to my smoothies to start me off on my journey to a better me. This is my first time purchasing this product. I have used other brands of collagen in the past with no issues. The container I received has an absolutely horrible smell. It smells like used gym socks dipped in rotten fish soup. The stench is unbearable. I'm seeing others state that they have used this product with no issues but their most recent container smelled terrible as well. Either there is something wrong with this lot or they changed the formula. The information on the bottom of my container is "Lot: 1901030 EXP: 05/2022." UPDATE: I have added two stars to my review based on the sellers willingness to resolve this issue. They are refunding my money and even sending a replacement container. I’m going to update again once I try my replacement container. I have to say, I’m very impressed with how they handled the situation. UPDATE #2: OK, I received my replacement container and the refund. The second container had maybe 10% of the odor that the first did. It was not odorless but no where near as bad as the first container. My previous brand of collagen was totally odorless. This container and the last container both did not mix so well. It clumps up and I have to use my spoon to smush it against the sides of my coffee cup. It takes some effort, but it eventually mixes into my coffee. My previous brand of collagen literally dissolved on contact with my coffee. I used my first (stinky) container of Wellpath for a little over a week. I've been using this second container for 2 weeks. I have noticed a difference in my skin even beyond what my previous brand of collagen provided. I've noticed a difference in my hair and nails as well. I have chondromalacia, and my knees creek and groan and click and clack. I've noticed less of that lately. Final verdict: I'm going to keep using Wellpath Renew Collagen. If it dissolved a little better and was truly odorless as claimed, I would give it 5 stars. I subtracted one star for that. From reading other reviews, it seems the quality isn't consistent from container to container. As long as I don't get any more super stinky, rancid smelling containers, I'm good. Dissolvability isn't so great, and the containers I've gotten haven't been odorless as claimed. However, results are the most important thing to me, and Wellpath's collagen delivers results that I am very happy with. I'd rather have collagen with a slight odor that takes a little longer to dissolve but delivers great results over a collagen that is odorless and dissolves easily but delivers subpar results.
