Good jar and helpful pieces come with it.
Good jar. Easy to use. Durable. Kid has metal seal, and has a cloth top. 24 oz jar. The thermometer and the feeding day/time band are very helpful. And it has a silicone stirrer.

Great for sourdough starter
Great for a starter jar if youโre just beginning to build up your starter. I wouldnโt recommend the cotton top as it can create/hold onto mold but the metal lid just as great. The spatula is also the BEST for cleaning out your jar.

A great jar
I make potato flake sourdough. I love the 24 oz jar, screw on top, fabric top and spurtle. If I were to purchase this jar again, I would purchase one size larger. This jar allows works great for one cup of starter but is not large enough to feed a larger amount. I rated one less star because the thermometer strip does not work.

This is well worth your money! I make sour dough bread so I always have starter in my fridge. I was just using a jar until I saw this! It comes with a band to measure when you use it & how much. I love the cloth cover for when it's sitting out. The size is perfect & the bands are super easy to use! I bought 1 for my mom & my aunt also! Grab it quick!!!

Very nice for sourdough starter. They are useful for 1 or 2 loaf batches but Not enough volume for multiple loaves. Good quality. I love the little hats.

A must have for sourdough starters
These are perfect for my sourdough bread starter. The spatula is strong for mixing and eady to clean. Having two jars and spatulas is helpful in keeping one discard sourdough in the fridge and one active and ready to use. They are the perfect size to avoid overflow but have enough starter to bake with.
