Been using this for a few weeks now for my cat (sometimes my friend’s small dog too lol) and honestly it works better than I expected. Setup was easy, screen is simple to figure out, and the portion control is pretty accurate once u test it once or twice. I set it to 3 meals/day and it’s been super consistent. The 8L tank is HUGE – lasts like 2-3 weeks easily. I like that it locks tight so no weird smell or ants. Voice record function is kinda cute (my cat literally comes running every time it “meows” my voice 😹). Cleaning is easy too, all the top parts come off. Just don’t wash the base obviously. I use both cable + batteries so even if power goes out, it still feeds fine. Solid product for the price. Would recommend to friends.

The smallest, weakest, plastic pieces on the lid spontaneously shattered after one or two months of not being messed with. I assume they are made from a different polymer, like ABS, that absorbs moisture and chemicals and gets brittle. Otherwise, this would have easily gotten 5 stars, partly for not being loaded with wireless brainrot. The flexible paddles that rotate the food funnel into the stainless bowl liner are a little fault tolerant, even if they distribute an uneven gram weight of food per activation. I’ve measured between 7.3 and 4.9 grams per dispenser turn, so its not a qualitative way to ensure your animals are getting no more or no less than what they should be. Things like column weight, compaction, temperature, and humidity affect it. The schedule is easy to set up and allows you to portion as much as your pet can eat in a sitting, or distribute it throughout the day in smaller digestive-regulating amounts. I have had to tape saran wrap around the lid after the flexible tabs broke off to get a good seal. A gram weight range measured from the bowl and smaller dispenser rotary sections would be an improvement to ensure a stable daily diet. The clock stays within a few minutes of real time over months or years as long as the ambient temperature balances out the basic crystal oscillator, so after a long time here it is only a few minutes off, not counting the weird shift people call daylight savings. Not bad at all for something that is less complicated and less expensive than competing products.
