This range of Greys Platinum Stealth Fly Lines have a lovely finer taper giving excellent presentation, but at the same time allowing for good turn over. Designed with a super low memory, this provides the lines with a huge casting delivery and the smooth, slicker finish allows the line to pass easily through the rod eyes giving good distance. The tapered tip gives subtle and feathery presentation resulting in controlled turnover combined with determined power. The lines have been given mellow dual colours that add to the overall stealth and fish craft due to reduced risk of spooking the quarry. The Stealth range comes in floating, intermediate and Wakesaver (Float/Int tip) versions. The Wakesaver is a total floating line with a short (7”), clear, intermediate tip end blending into it. The sinking tip stops leader wake with slow retrieves. The Wakesaver is great for a lot of techniques like static buzzer, sunk hoppers, loch style drifting and fishing suspender nymphs. Excellent for helping to sink the leader on dries when the surface tension keeps it floating. The Greys Platinum Stealth Fly Line is perfect for use on rivers, streams and stillwater and comes in all the standard weights . Supplied with two braided loops.

Pleased so far
Have used 444SL for many years but find them difficult to come by these days. Tried this and found it very good - line gets out well and presentation is decent. Possibly slightly light 7 weight. Comes with braided loops you have to attach yourself rather than welded loops. Have bought another one since - will see how they last through a season.

Brilliant line
I have always used this line and the last one lasted me for almost 7/8 years and the only reason I had to replace it was that a lit cigarette on my hand made a dent on it. The line almost like a DT casts wonderfully and fly presentation is almost perfect.

Floats well and catches fish.
Slight issue with coil memory but after a few fish caught this improved. I also stretched the line before use. Floats nice and high in the water and casts well.
