Works very well so far and and delighted it has a stainless steel interior after throwing away working microwaves that the lining has peeled!

My mum's deluxe digital microwave caught fire as she never got her head around the digital timer options so was depending on remembering to check it. This failed when she developed mild dementia. Plus there were too many options so it confused her. I sought out a model with basic features but still looked nice, this fits the bill. A good grab handle essential too. Turn the manual dial for the mins required and it turns itself off. Food perfectly cooked. We have not adjusted the temp setting which is @ medium, no need. Although I did add a red dot to the dial so that it is easier to see the alignment of the time selected. The rubber red dots are aimed at those with vision impairment but I think everyone needs it for this model.

We wanted a stainless steel interior as our last 2 microwaves had problems with peeling paint and rusting. This looks great, the handle is an added bonus as it makes it really easy to open. The dials are easy to use and quite obvious for timing. The interior light is bright enough to see what's cooking however I wish manufacturers would go back to having the light come on when the door opens so you can see to put the plate back on after cleaning. The ping is loud enough to hear from the next room. All in all a great buy

The good: Stainless steel interior means there'll be none of that peeling paint and the crackly sparking that goes along with it. It's doesn't beep (seemingly) incessantly! The high-pitched beeping which accompanies the button pushing of some push-button 'modern' microwaves grates inside my ears & head. And then they have to gall to beep FIVE times when the cycle is done. Why?? This lovely little unit just gives you that classic 'ting' ONCE when the heating is over. That's all you need. The not-so-good: The knobs are quite hard to grip to turn them, especially the timer knob, and especially if you have wet hands; there's no grip on them at all! I've stretched a rubber o-ring over the knobs which handily cures the problem (an elastic band would work well too), but it should have been spotted at the design stage. The indicator lines on the knobs is also quite hard to see, so I've coloured them in with black pen. Again, such a mod shouldn't be necessary. Overall: We've had ours for over a year now and it's been brilliant; despite very minor, surmountable flaws, this is an excellent and easy-to-use microwave.

I received my oven today looked really nice and simple to work, but then I plugged it in and turned it on that's when it all went wrong the turn table didn't turn and the timer didn't count down but the water got hot. I tried it a few times no joy at all, I returned it and got a full refund from Amazon. Would I buy Haden again probably not, shame really with it being a UK company.

This is an excellent item however there's a problem with the timer, it may take 4 mins to move one minute mark on the dial to another. My solution is to create a standalone microwave timer. This requires the timer from an old microwave oven, a suitable relay, a mains power unit, a length of cable, and a 13 amp plug. Note: the capacitor in a microwave oven can deliver dangerous voltage even when mains is disconnected. I prefer the handle (to open) a microwave this works well. The control knobs are easy to use and well designed. Note: I chose to not return the item as I can happily use it. I expect the stainless interior to greatly increase it's life.
