Accurate, Easy to Read, and Very Useful Every Day
This indoor outdoor thermometer works really well and was very easy to set up. The wireless sensor connected quickly, and the readings for temperature and humidity have been accurate and consistent. I really like the large display with backlight because it makes everything easy to read, even at night. The extra features like max/min records, dew point, heat index, and pressure are very helpful and make it much more than a basic thermometer. It’s great for checking both indoor comfort and outdoor weather at a glance. Battery powered and convenient to place anywhere. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

Accuracy and size are very good
Works great. Located out of sun on north exposure. Signal strength strong, goes through several walls. Checked accuracy to .5*f. Good unit for the price.

Works great
It is great tool for checking the weather/temperature at a quick glance from indoors. A little tricky hanging the gauge outdoor due to the L-shape.

So far this works well..
I’ve only had this a few days but, so far, I’m impressed with its features - especially considering the price. One thing to note is that the remote sensor cannot be fastened to a flat surface because there’s a protrusion at the bottom of the back side. Possibly that’s so it can stand up on a table or such but it interferes with using the keyhole slot for wall mounting.

Good product for the price
This is an excellent little outdoor thermometer. Super easy to install, easy to read and has a light for easy reading also. There are many extras that I haven't really used yet. The price is also worth it. We looked at some big box stores and the prices were anywhere from $29.00 to over $40.00. Decided to look on Amazon and purchased this one for less than $20.00. Happy so far with my purchase.

No mounting hole for the thermometer.
I like this little thermometer because of its size and function. I wanted to mount both units on a wall. The thermometer does not have a mounting hole. I had to modify the unit and drill a hole. There is not much room for error. I also modified the sensor. It has a mounting hole, but also a dumb base plate to place it on a flat surface. For it to mount flat against the wall I cut the base off.

Great product
I wanted to be able to know what the temperature inside our heated greenhouse is without having to walk out there and check , especially at night during sub freezing weather. So I chose this OBET Weather Station Outdoor Thermometer Wireless Indoor Outdoor Digital Thermometer and it does the job perfectly. Consists of a sender and a receiver that sits inside the house and gives you the temperature of the greenhouse and also the temperature of the room that it is sitting in. It was pretty easy to set up as long as you just read the instructions and make sure that you put the battery into the sender first and then pop the two little batteries into the receiver and if you do that the receiver and sender will pair automatically. The receiver has a split screen to show both temps and will indicate when either battery is low. It also has an icon indicating signal strength, the range is quoted to be 100 feet . Our distance from house to greenhouse is about 50 ft and it indicates a strong signal in the kitchen and the bedroom when I take it in at night to keep a night time temp check if I wake up during the night. So far it has worked without a hitch so I am very happy , if things go bad in the future I will update this review. Worth the piece of mind inu opinion. Recommend this product.

For the price, this is an excellent weather station
This is very close to one of the other systems I have, but it has nice upgrades. The big difference is that the monitor/display can be plugged into a USB power source to keep the display lit up. It does use three AAA batteries otherwise, which would keep the monitor going for a few months, but keeping the display on would drain them pretty quick. Accuracy when I compare it to the other systems is within .2 of a degree. A couple of the other systems are high-end and far more expensive. Even the humidity is within a few points. We have a greenhouse and an aquaponics system in a grow tent located in the basement. It's nice to have something that I can rely on that allows me to monitor in real-time both of these environments. It's also nice to have one located outdoors just to keep an eye on what's happening outside, especially this time of year, in the spring, when we still need to worry about nighttime temps dropping below 0 to ensure we heat the greenhouse if needed. ► The manual is easy to follow, and there is nothing technical in getting this set up. The display looks good. I like the four-corner scheme with dividing lines to help differentiate what information belongs to which sensor. The monitor has some nice features: ► Hung on a wall from a nail or screw. ► The indoor section of the display is clearly marked INDOOR. ► Each of the four sections shows nice, large digits that can be seen from at least ten feet away - at least for me. ► Placed on a shelf or desktop with the fold-out rear stand. ► On the back are four buttons; there is the option to have the display show F or C. ► Comes with a USB to barrel connector to power it up instead of running on batteries only. ► Each of the sensors details show both the temperature and humidity at the same time, no waiting for the display to cycle through the details. ► Has three levels of back lighting so it can be used at night if needed. The lowest setting is just right to avoid blinding me when I need to see what's going on at night in the greenhouse. The touch button to switch the back light on or off, plus adjust the three levels, is on the front right above the display. ○ Other systems offer the ability to have the backlight on for a certain amount of time, but this is just to save the batteries. Here, the entire thing seems to run off the USB connection, so a timer isn't needed. ► As with the other systems, one very good notable item is that the LCD display has a wide viewing angle. Older systems required being almost at a 90-degree angle to them in order to see the LCD segments. There is the usual min/max tracking, but it's all numeric. There is no graph feature which is always nice to have. While the display uses three AAA batteries, the remote sensors use two AA batteries. I have one with lithium, and the other two use alkaline. I'm curious to see how long the alkaline lasts in these sensors. ► Each sensor has a switch under the battery compartment cover for setting the channel it reports on. The kit comes with them preset. ► On the display, each sensor's information also includes an icon that comes on if the batteries are getting low. Too bad there is no real-time indication. Getting everything set up was simple and took no more than five minutes. So far this is the best option I have used, especially considering that it's selling for $15.99 as I write this review. At first, when I saw the price, I was skeptical that something at this price would work as well as it does. Having said that, I need to wait till next winter to see how well the outside sensors handle -30 C temps.

Readings vary slightly between units, but accurate enough for most purposes.
I ordered this set of thermometers because I have a few different environments to keeps track of around my home that I wanted to monitor. In addition to the weather outside, I also have to track the temperature and humidity of an enclosure for a resin 3d printer and the garage the enclosure is located in, as colder temperatures can have a drastic effect on the reliability of a print. So far, these thermometers have been holding up quite well, and haven't had any range or connectivity issues in the month or so I've been using them in. When I was initially getting everything set up, I did notice some discrepancies between the temperature readings of all the monitors while they were all in the same room (at most 0.3 degrees C between the standalone thermometers and about .7 degrees for the base station's reading) but they're all generally in the same ballpark. The humidity readings have been in lockstep with each other throughout my testing. Battery life has been going strong so far, and all the units are still going strong. I've opted to keep the base station plugged in with a battery backup in case of power outages. I did try plugging it into the USB port on a power bar, but it seemed to compete too much with other devices that were plugged in on that circuit, so it didn't last more than a couple of seconds. I've since opted to use a dedicated wall wart style adapter for it, and it hasn't been an issue since. I haven't removed a star for this in my review as it's not a fault of this product, but it may be worth knowing in case you have to troubleshoot the same issue. Overall, I've been very happy with this product, and it's been nice to know whether I should get out of bed early on my days off to start a print session or just stay cozy instead. I'll be using it regularly from now on, and if something were to happen to it I'd probably get the same one again.

Simple but Effective
With a price point of $15.99 this weather station monitor does a great job on allowing you to monitor 4 different areas in one spot. Part of the reason for this price point is likely because it does not come with or include built in rechargeable batteries. This item takes a lot of batteries. The base requires 3 AAA batteries and each of the remote sensors requires 2 AA batteries. You are able to plug in the base, so these batteries in there can be just for battery backup when the power is out. Set up is straight forward. Add in the batteries and choose whether you want C or F on the back. If the base is plugged in it will have a backlight, but if it is running on batteries it will conserve energy and not have a backlight, you can adjust this to be high medium or low brightness. My first test with this item was to get an idea of how close each of the sensors is. So I moved all the sensors together to a variety of locations to see if they produced similar results. There was no real pattern with the readings but in generally they were fairly close in their readings, with the Indoor Base sensor being that one that had the furthest difference. My next test was to see how the results of this compared again my other thermometers. It’s always a challenge when evaluating these to know which one is truly accurate. On my pictures of several different monitors you will see that the bottom two numbers on the Indoor Base sensor say 21.4 and 21.5, which is similar to my smaller single moniture but about 1 degree different from my larger monitor. The analog thermometer read around 22C . The ad says to allow for +/-1.8℉ temperature accuracy and +/-5% humidity accuracy. So this item is display within what it claims it’s accuracy would be. I would expect the analog to be most accurate and since it only shows me full degree difference it’s safe to say that it could be 21.5 or slightly higher and then be completely in line with this digital sensor. The top two readings on the Base Monitor were both the same at 20.1 and when I checked my analog thermometer outside it was in agreement that it was around 20. Which indicates that my large digital screen is not as accurate. When it comes to humidity it says to allow for about 5% difference and the readings are mostly within the difference area. Overall, this item seems to be decently accurate and I appreciate that I can now monitor my basement, garage, outdoors and main floor and have it all displayed on one screen.
