SO GOOD!
I absolutely loved this product! The dishwashing tablets worked so well. I was a little nervous because I like my dishes to smell very clean, but I have learned that the chemicals that standard dishwashing pods contain can remain on my dishes and utensils which was very concerning. After doing a lot of research I learned that clean doesn’t mean it has to have a strong chemical scent. What I loved about fabtab dishwashing tabs is that they are safe, they clean as good as standard pods and I actually know I’m not serving my children’s food in a plate that contains chemicals.

Ineffective and leaves a film on everything
Not only do these not clean your dishes, they leave a film on everything, and pieces of undissolved detergent throughout the dishwasher. My entire dishwasher is coated in the film. Completely not worth it.

Left white residue
I was disappointed at this product's below-average performance. And these aren't exactly cheap. I gave it two chances, just to confirm 1st results were not a one-off. I used my usual dishwasher settings both times, making no changes to the usual routine besides these tabs. Both times, glassware seemed to do okay, but the tabs left a white powder-like residue all over other items, such as plasticware (food storage containers/lids, etc.) that always come out clean using any other dishwasher tabs whether "eco-friendly" or not. Also, the tabs coated the entire inside of my dishwasher with that residue after washing cycle completion. Never saw anything do that, before. They seem to work well for some folks, and they do come nicely packaged - the best thumbs up I can offer. Glad they're returnable and I've started that process.

Great company response and support
I need to amend my original review, based on company support. They have went out of their way to resolve my issues with their product. They sent me a reformulated version of the dishwasher tablets, and other than leaving a slight residue on my wheatgrass dishes, and silicone utensils, it works very well. The old product left a horrible, like lingering odor on my wheatgrass dishes and silicone utensils. The new product does not. There is no residue on my stainless steel cutlery and dishes. Great company, fantastic support and response time.

Good product.
We like these product. Easy to use. Yes, a little bit of paper after each tablet but it is hard to avoid garbage. we all have to try the best we can but sometimes is unavoidable.

Great dish tablets
Update: Removing one star because they began to leave a film on my dishes and filter. These seem to be a doing a good job and I appreciate that each of the tabs aren't wrapped in plastic that would add microplastics to our dishes. I left off one star because I would appreciate NO additional packaging and each tab is individually wrapped.

We loved
I first bought the foaming hand soap and loved it so much that I didn’t hesitate to get the dish soap too, and it did not disappoint! This products is amazing, and I love that they’re made with clean, plant-based ingredients. Highly recommend 100%!

Meh
So I was really excited after using their spray cleaners to try the dishwasher pods. First, I hate that they’re individually wrapped. That’s such an economic waste. Second I noticed on the packaging. It says to dissolve in lukewarm water first for best results. Why would you have to do this with a dishwasher pod? How are you then supposed to put it into the dishwasher? I have noticed a slight film on some glass pieces that I wash otherwise it doesn’t do too bad of a job. My other grip is that when you try to chat with customer service, you can’t unless you download the WhatsApp app and that is just stupid.

People and Environment friendly effective tablets
We were looking for an eco- and human-friendly dishwasher tablet, and Fabtab delivered! They clean really well, even on greasy dishes, and dissolve easily in different washing cycles. No strong smell, no residue — just clean dishes every time. Really happy with these!

These seem to be just as good as the expensive store ones
I typically use Finish, Fairy, etc. They're familiar brands and I know they work. I first tried these on a fairly light load, just to see how it went, and it did well. I then tried it on a full load, and it does just as well. I haven't tried in a heavily soiled load, but I usually make sure everything is fairly well rinsed before it goes in the dishwasher anyway. No residue or anything, and everything comes out clean. It does have a fairly strong smell when you open the dishwasher, but the smell doesn't stick on the dishes. Overall, I'm very happy with these!

Washed our plates and cutlery well but not sure about compostable packaging claims
Pros The tablets fit easily in our dishwasher detergent dispenser. The detergent seems to clean our lightly soiled plates and cutlery on the usual quick setting. Cons I was initially confused by the documentation inside the pack which describes a multipurpose cleaner where a table is put into a bottle. After a while I realised that this is a general leaflet for several Fabtab products. The dishwasher tablet instructions are printed on the lid of the box and on each tablet package. The inside of the box says that the tablet packaging is compostable. When I opened the package there seemed to be clear plastic inside, like a waterproof lining. I’m not willing to potentially contaminate my compost bin with this. The tablets seem quite a bit more expensive per load than other options.

Even as an eco-friendly option it is expensive
These dishwasher tablets cost around $1 each, which is pretty steep when I usually go for ones that are only 15-30c each. The big selling point here is that they’re eco-friendly, plant-based, and plastic-free, which I guess is what drives the price up. I’ve got a high-end dishwasher, and honestly, I’ve tried pretty much every tab on the market in it with a 60-minute cycle, and they all clean just fine – these are no different. Sure, they get the job done, but for me, it’s just not worth the price. You can tell they’re targeting a certain market with the whole eco-friendly vibe, but the tablet itself looks like it was made by someone pouring powder into a pill press in their garage without the best binding agents. If you’re really after an eco-friendly option, at this point, you’re better off just getting a powder instead.
