Fantastic value with an incredible assortment of quality items.
I've been an inflatable kayak owner for most of my 86 years and I cannot understand the low ratings given to what I consider a high quality light duty boat. The awning itself, is worth the price paid for the entire package. And, that doesn't include the quality tools like the air pump and containers. The oars are, indeed, light weight and certainly not designed to fend off rocks and shoals... but this boat is not intended for that purpose, anyway. They work fine and with reasonable care should last as long as the boat. The kayak bag is lighter than I would have liked but it does the job it's supposed to. Having now seen and handled the boat, I am not only going to keep it, I'm considering buying another one. It just must be used as intended!

Not for serious kayakers
The quality of the materials used to make this, especially the paddles, is too fragile for serious use. Definitely use an electric pump to blow this up because the manual hand pump will have you exhausted. The canopy is not stable so don't even think about using this on a windy day. I would not use this in area where there are a lot of sticks and sharp stones, I don't believe this could withstand it. It's ok for temporary fun.

It's fun and a great entry level Kayak
Our son wanted a little boat or Kayak for fishing in some of the ponds and small lakes near our home. This we a great entry level kayak for him. Unfortunately, it got hooked but it was easy enough to patch up. It takes a while to pump up so we use a portable battery operated pump. I'm not sure how long it will last but it is definitely a great entry level kayak and it looks great too. I think for the price and what all it comes with, it is definitely worth it. Overall I think it is a good product for what it is. 2 thumbs up.
