Does it need a battery or charging?

No. It’s completely passive, powered by scanner signals. It requires no battery, charging, or maintenance for lifetime use.

Card vs. sleeve: which is better?

One card protects your entire wallet (2.4-inch radius). A sleeve only protects the single card inside it, making our card more convenient.

Does it block Apple Pay/Google Pay?

No. It only shields physical cards from skimmers. Your phone’s digital wallet uses different, secure encryption and will work normally.

Will it erase or degauss the magnetic strips on my other cards?

No, it will not. The card only uses safe RFID/NFC signal blocking (13.56 MHz). It does not create a magnetic field and cannot erase, degauss, or damage the magnetic strips on your credit cards, hotel key cards, or gift cards.
