Nice
Good sturdy quality product. Large bin collection, and fairly quiet, there is still some noise, but not as much as my old shredder. I like the separate plastic catcher for credit cards/CD's. First time seeing that on a product. However, the catcher is not glue down, so be careful when you empty the bin, that it doesn't fall out into your trash. I suggest taping it down for security. Makes really fine confetti paper.I recommend this product.

Quiet and efficient
This is a good shredder. I have it in my office. I put several documents in the feeder and it shredds them quietly and efficiently, even if I am on the phone.

So close to being a great product!
With a couple of MINOR changes this could be a 5 star product. As it is, though, I can only give it 3 stars. The specs sound great - 60 sheet paper feeder, 8 sheet capacity hand fed, can shred credit cards, CDs, etc. When I first tried the paper feeder it wouldn't grab onto the paper. I tried cleaning the rubberized parts on the drive shaft that should feed the paper with a water dampened cloth and that didn't seem to make a difference. As I moved the feeder tray trying to get a look around, the paper started to feed. You see in the pics I put 4 popsicle sticks in the opening to get the tray more upright and it fed better that way. I ended up going to a clothesline clip as it was slightly thicker and more stable. It still needed to be babysat to keep feeding that way, but it was much better. Then, because the motor runs as it tries to index the paper into the shredder, the motor overheats and the shredding stops while it cools down. The shredder is one of the quieter shredders I've experienced. My mom was nearby when I was doing some shredding and she even commented on how quiet it was. The bin is a good size, so it doesn't have to be emptied real often. There's a removeable smaller bin that can be put in place to keep the CDs and cards separate from the recyclable paper. There really are a lot of nice, well thought out details on this shredder. It just needs to feed better - better drive wheel grip, or an adjustable tray angle (better yet, both). It also could use a more powerful motor, or at least one that cools better to allow longer run times. And the motor really wouldn't be a problem if the paper fed better. People want a shredder with this capacity because they have a lot of shredding to do and want to get through it, they don't want to have to babysit the shredder to keep it working.

More shredding than a set of snowboarders
Being used in the office of a local charity where I volunteer. It works great. The stackable input is a blessing versus standing and feeding a small number of sheets at a time. It’s not a full cross-cutting shredder; doesn’t make the paper into confetti pieces, but I defy anyone to put them back together. Only slight problem was the credit card/CD/DVD shredder created sharp pieces that cut the small box/bag the pieces fall into. This is not an issue, since we rarely, if ever, need to shred these things. So we won’t use them anyway.Good, useable product. Great for a small office.

Chugging Away
I have a backlog of paperwork that needs to be shredded so I was excited about a more heavy duty shredder. The self feeding option is nice for hands free. It does over heat faster than I expected but I do have a ton of paperwork so maybe it’s a normal amount of time. I like the card slot but I feel like it shreds in strips instead of crosscut. Overall it’s a good machine. The wheels make it easy to move around.

Excellent shredder
Like a lot of people, I have box after box of old receipts, check stubs, bank statements, etc. And like most people, you don't want to throw it into the trash because of the possibility of identity theft. The Wisewing shredder, does a crisscross cut, which is exactly what you want so there’s no way any info can be obtained. It has two slots, one for receipts and individual items and a feed slot that will hold up to 60 sheets at a time. It also has a separate feeding slot for old greeting cards, business cards, old credit cards, cds. Most importantly keep in mind, this is a shredder, not a garbage disposal. Don't try to over load it, definitely don't put anything with staples in it, respect the machine and it will do a great job for you. It does have a safety feature built in that if the motor were to overheat it will stop running until it cools back down. It also has an automatic reverse feature if something were to get stuck. A great feature that most shredders that I’ve used don’t have. It runs much quieter than most shredders I’ve used in the past, especially for a unit of this size.A shredder like this is an investment in privacy and security. As for me, I'm at that point in my life where I'm the only standing member of my family left. So it was time, to go through all the paper work that had accumulated through the years, disposing of it and giving myself peace of mind. I am extremely happy with the performance of this shredder and can easily recommend it. Thank you.
