SF1000 (2024) Fully Modular Low Noise ATX Power Supply – Black

I chose the CORSAIR SF1000 (2024) for my small form factor build, and it has been an outstanding purchase. The build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Corsair—excellent. It’s compact, incredibly well-built, fully modular, and operates very quietly, even under demanding workloads. Cable management is also much easier thanks to the incredibly flexible modular cables, which are some of the best included cables I’ve ever used. For compact cases like the A4-H2O, their flexibility makes routing and managing cables significantly easier, helping achieve a clean build without putting unnecessary stress on connectors or components. For a high-end system, especially in a small case where airflow and reliability are critical, I simply trust Corsair more than any other brand. The power supply is one of the few components where I never want to compromise, and knowing my hardware is powered by a unit with such a strong reputation gives me real peace of mind. When you’re investing in expensive components, that level of confidence is worth every penny. If you’re building in the A4-H2O or any other premium SFF case, this power supply is an easy recommendation. It combines exceptional build quality, whisper-quiet operation, excellent efficiency, outstanding flexible cables that are ideal for SFF builds, and the long-standing reliability Corsair is known for. It’s exactly the kind of PSU you can install once and trust for years to come.

The Corsair SF1000 (2024) SFX Power Supply shipped incredibly fast and showed up the next day with Prime, which is always a great start. Right out of the box, Corsair’s attention to detail is obvious - excellent packaging and a premium feel throughout. Installation was straightforward, especially with the included SFX-to-ATX bracket, and it fit my L300 case perfectly. Compatibility was spot-on for a compact build, though it’s still smart to double-check cable lengths depending on your setup. Speaking of cables, there are plenty included, they’re nicely sleeved, and they make cable management clean and efficient. Performance-wise, this PSU delivers serious power with rock-solid stability. The 80 Plus Platinum efficiency and 105°C-rated Japanese capacitors translate into excellent reliability, even under heavy loads. The low noise level is another big win - the 92mm PWM fan stays quiet while keeping everything cool. Cybernetics rating this as one of the best SFX PSUs of all time definitely shows here. That said, I’d recommend waiting for deals around the $180 mark with coupons - t’s an absolute no-brainer at that price. Overall, this is a top-tier SFX unit that nails power delivery, reliability, cable management, and ease of installation in a compact form factor.

Fit great in my mini itx build, it powers my 5070 ti oc and ryzen 7 9800X3D quietly and cable management was great, I love the modularity of the cables and they all click into place nice and tight. It's small but extremely powerful and lives up to the hype. 5/5

I bought this item brand new, shipped and sold directly from Amazon, so I expected a factory-sealed product. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The PSU I received was clearly used — it had the well-known LPN label on the box, which is usually a dead giveaway. On top of that, the box wasn’t shrink-wrapped, and the cables weren’t sealed in their original packaging. Everything was just loose inside, which isn’t what you expect when buying a “new” product. After looking through other reviews, it seems like this isn’t an isolated issue either, which is pretty disappointing for something advertised as brand new. That said, the PSU itself seems solid. It’s clearly a high-end unit — efficient, well-built, and easy to install, with great connectors. No complaints there. I just wish I actually received a new one like I paid for. At this point, I’m going to keep it because I don’t have the time or energy to deal with a return and wait for a replacement, but it’s definitely frustrating. I’d recommend buying from somewhere else if you want to be sure you’re getting a truly new unit.

Had zero issues with this psu, cables are easy to work with for small builds. I built an itx build, a 7800x3d, TC ddr5 6000 cl30, msi b850i mpg evo, couple of m2 drives, and an rtx 5080 slim. This card powers all that and barley ever spins the fan. Pretty overkill unless you are rocking a 14th or 15th gen Intel with a Rtx 5090. A note is just make sure this is a small form factor build or the cables will be to short. It is an sff psu for sdf builds only. I

This is the best SFX power supply, and one of the best power supplies overall. I’ve used a few others (EVGA, Lian Li, Corsair) in PCs for other people, and this has been my fav. I love the way it looks. Premium fit and finish. Makes low heat and zero noise. The individually sleeved cables are wonderful and they make cable management a breeze for SFF. I got this for $160 during Amazon Prime week 2026. It replaced an SF850 (shown side-by-side in pic) which I bought for $200 back when they released. Easily worth it for me. I didn’t need to upgrade, and it’s more than I’ll ever need, but I’m going to keep it forever. I noticed Corsair started using a black fan in the SF power supplies, which completes the black aesthetic. But, other than that and the extra PCIe power connector, it’s the same as my SF850.

So originally i was going to write a review about how great the psu was for my itx build yada yada yada, HOWEVER, I recently discovered that the AC cable was loose and accidentally touching it caused my pc to shut off twice mid-game. Turns out the AC cable head is taller than normal (compared to older Apevia PSU AC cable), making it not sit flush against back of PSU. I don't know how dangerous this is or if it could have killed my rig so just be careful if you get same AC Cable as me? Other than that, PSU is amazing and I never hear it during use. I do have a somewhat low power system with ryzen 5 5500 and rx 9060 xt so maybe thats why, but still a great investment ignoring ac cable issue. Internal cable management was pretty straightforward but cpu power cable was almost too short and i have mini itx board. If you have full size pc maybe invest in some longer psu cables.

The CORSAIR SF1000 is the best PSU I have ever built in, and I've built in quite a few. IMO better than Corsair RMx and HX series. The cables are so flexible and easy to work with. Pairs great with 9800x3d and RX 9070XT.

Dead silent, cables are a bit tight in my Lian Li a3 but it works perfectly. Bought a Lian Li SFX power supply first, coil whine was unbearable. Save yourself a headache and just buy corsair.

No significant complaints except the cables can be slightly too short depending on which case you are using. They do list the lengths on their site so I would highly recommend checking it prior to ordering as getting other cables is quite costly.

Great PSU. Comes with braided cords that are super flexible. It is quiet so far.
