Excellent buy
Good product I have used this dial more than a dozen times building transmissions. I have checked it against other dial indicators and it is with spec. I prefer the link style arm over the cumbersome rods. This tool is fast to setup and has worked flawlessly. Only thing I would like for it to be better would be the magnet be a little bit stronger, but if you have a flat spot big enough it will hold . I have used mine to check shaft end play on axels, differentials, and main and countershafts. Should also work well for run out on rotors.

Great quality
s a millwright, I use this dial indicator daily for alignment work, and it’s been a game-changer. The magnets are strong and reliable, which is crucial when working with heavy equipment. I really appreciate how flexible and easy it is to position—it saves time and frustration on the job. Solid build quality and dependable performance make this a must-have tool in my kit.

Great customer service!
When trying to turn the dial, the cover popped off. The seller reached out and replaced the unit. Great customer service.

Waste of $
Useless. It's like the cable is too long and will not tighten up to be able to indicate surfaces. Absolutely zero way to stiffen it up.

Interesting idea that ends up as a mediocre solution
The stiffness of this requires some adjustments. Unfortunately, due to the throw distance available in the toggle switch, the adjustment between it-can-be-adjusted when disengaged and it-stays-in-place when engaged is very small. So you will end up with something you can adjust with the toggle, but isn't rigid or something you can't adjust with the toggle and is rigid. Overall, the multiple axis or fluid adjustment idea is not realized with this design.
