Spectracide 53370 Termite Killing Foam, 16Ounce Aerosol

Sprayed on red ants in bathroom wall. They are gone now. Very effective

I used Spectracide Terminate Termite Killing Foam to treat a small termite problem around my home, and overall I was happy with the results. The foam was easy to spray into cracks and tight spaces, and I liked that it could be used both indoors and outdoors. It started working quickly, and after a few days I noticed much less termite activity.

Strong and good quality

Its not possible to know if this stuff actually killed any termites as it is sprayed inside the wall. That said... I drilled small holes for pressing the nozzle up against to fill my walls. These walls have insulation, so I was somewhat worried it would not go it. Well, that was not the problem, if used carefully and pressed against the hole hard enough and long enough, the foam definitely expands in the wall. I like the idea of the product, but there is no way to verify its effectiveness. I am knocking the product by 1 star because it is possible to press the button in such a way that the foam comes spraying out all over your hands and shirt straight from the lid. This happened twice when a helper was putting the foam into the wall. I was careful to press straight down and I had no issue, so I did not ask the helper to try again as it seemed dangerous. Wear goggles and gloves! Here is hoping the stuff actually works inside the wall!
