Is this cable compatible with Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 devices?

Yes. This Intel-certified Thunderbolt 5 cable is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4, and USB-C devices at their respective speeds.

Can this cable reach 120 Gbps on any device?

No. Performance varies based on your host and device capabilities. The 120 Gbps “bandwidth boost” works only when both your Thunderbolt 5 host and display support that feature.

Why is my laptop not charging or showing 80 Gbps?

Ensure both ends are Thunderbolt 5 and plugged into Thunderbolt ports (bolt icon). If one end is TB4/USB4, speed drops (e.g., 40 Gbps). For charging, use a USB-C PD charger/dock and a laptop port that accepts PD input.

What displays are supported?

Supports dual 6K or 8K or triple 4K@144Hz displays when both host and display support these features.

Does this cable work with MacBook Pro?

Yes. Compatible with MacBook Pro models featuring Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB-C ports.
