Quality Privacy Filter: Easy to Apply, Stays Attached, Clear (and protected) Screen Visibility
I got a new laptop (Asus Zenbook 14"), and I wanted to a privacy screen for moments when I'm working remotely and/or in tight quarters (hello, airplanes). I tried a few different ones: ones with magnets, one with stickers...what I didn't like was that they weren't right "against" the screen and often created some fuzziness and clarity issues. I ended up returning all of them. This one appealed to me because it was a film applied directly to the screen, kind of like an old-school phone screen protector. And just like those old school screen protectors, it can be a bit of a trial-and-error run to get it right...but so long as you take your time and give yourself ample working space, it's easy! Went on smoothly - I was able to unpeel and re-apply as I discovered some stray dust fragments. It adhered well to my screen. I can see a few bubbles, but I'm confident I'll be able to work them out. It's a thicker screen filter, which I like. I'm especially impressed because despite it's thickness, I can see through it clearly. No blurred text. And the privacy of it works perfectly for my needs. I was about to bemoan my ability to find a privacy filter for my laptop that I didn't hate...until I found this. Worked exactly how I hoped it would!

Excellent Privacy Screen
This privacy filter fits perfectly and does exactly what it promises. It keeps my screen protected from side viewing while maintaining good image quality when viewed directly. As an added bonus, it helps reduce glare and eye strain during long work sessions. A simple, affordable, and very effective accessory for anyone who works with sensitive information or frequently uses a laptop in public places. Highly recommended! ๐ป๐

Great screen protector and privacy augmenter!
17.3 Inch 1920x1080 Laptop Privacy Screen Filter, Anti Blue Light Glare & Anti Scratch: Very durable, looks like it will double as a screen preserver. The application was rather involved and tedious, but that is a normal part of it. The protector works well for privacy and limiting side view. I managed to avoid bubbles by being meticulous. Although, I had to look at a different brands directions to figure out how to apply it since it didn't come with real directions. Yeah, it's very sticky. I feel like it is permanent. Pro tip: Try not to bend it too much when installing it (you have to sometimes peel it off a little during application to work bubbles out and it left 2 vertical bars when it was done). This is because its a polarized shield and if you bend it too much it changes the direction of the polar tunnel. But, hardly noticeable or bothersome. Just happy I got it on successfully. That was the hard part!

Product Review: 15.6โ Laptop Privacy Screen
I recently purchased a 15.6โ laptop privacy screen, and it has exceeded my expectations in both functionality and ease of use. As someone who often works in public spaces, safeguarding my screen from prying eyes is a top priority, and this product delivers exactly what I needed. Pros: 1. Effective Privacy Protection: The screen limits the viewing angle to about 30 degrees on either side, making it nearly impossible for anyone sitting next to me to see whatโs on my screen. 2. Easy Installation: The package includes adhesive tabs and slide-mount options, allowing me to choose how I wanted to attach the filter. Both methods are straightforward and secure. 3. Durability: The privacy screen feels sturdy and doesnโt scratch easily, even after frequent use and cleaning. 4. Maintains Screen Clarity: When viewed head-on, the screenโs clarity remains sharp with no noticeable dimming or distortion. 5. Dual Functionality: One side is matte, which reduces glare, and the other is glossy for a crisper display. Switching between the two is as simple as flipping the screen. Cons: 1. Fingerprints: The glossy side is prone to smudges, so frequent cleaning is necessary if you prefer that surface. 2. Fit Adjustment: While the privacy screen fits my 15.6โ laptop perfectly, some users might need to trim the edges slightly for a snug fit, depending on their laptopโs bezel design. Overall, this privacy screen has significantly enhanced my ability to work securely in public without compromising my screenโs quality. Itโs a must-have for remote workers, students, or anyone handling sensitive information on their laptops. Highly recommended!

Poor quality, difficult installation, not anti-glare
I needed a pretty basic anti-glare option for my laptop so I grabbed this. The privacy feature was nice, but not a necessity. Boy was I bamboozled. The screen cover had multiple imperfections visible before I even installed it. Little warping or inconsistent texture. I thought this might just be from the top "masking" they put on it for installation, however, so I went ahead and tried to install it. Let me preface this by saying I have installed any number of screen covers and protectors - tablets, portable gaming devices, cell phones, etc. Dozens probably in my lifetime. This was by far the worst when it comes to dust and adherence. I understand part of it is the SIZE of the protector and just the way dust works, but this thing is so statically charged from removing the backing that it just sucks dust onto it. I got most of it off, but the adhesive is so inconsistent that even when using a sweeping motion air would get caught under it. It took me a good 15-20 minutes to get a satisfactory result... and after all that.. it's not very matte/anti-glare. Is is better than nothing? Yes. Is it worth the image quality loss and color balance degradation? Not at all. The privacy feature, however, worked well. So if you only care about privacy and are ONLY going to be doing very basic things like word processing or whatnot, this may work for you if you have the patience to get a reasonable install. If you have any need of image quality or aren't an expert on these installs? Skip this. It was a nightmare and I ended up just ripping it off and tossing it in the trash.

It's okay
It wasn't a 100% fit on the MSI stealth A16, but still, does the job

Do not buy if you want privacy. 2.5 star rating
I like how thick and durable it is, and yet the touch screen is just as sensitive as it was when it did not have a screen cover on it. Now about the main issue. the private protection on the screen cover is weak. I tested it out with my mom, and she can confirm she was still able to see what I was doing while sitting at an angle from me and if someone is standing or even sitting behind you then forget it, they are able to see everything. I went to a phone store, and they were kind enough to put the screen on for me but even they had a hard time placing it on. Another issue for me is the picture quality, because of the "private" protection of the cover it makes my picture quality look bad which is one of the main reasons why I have this laptop, so it makes me indecisive of wanting to keep this screen protection on. I can see why this item is return often and unfortunately amazon is the only store that make screen covers for yoga 7i.

Fit and privacy view-Excellent
After a lot of searching, I settled on this privacy screen filter. I'm glad I did. I have a 16" Lenovo Yoga. I have applied many screen protectors of this type to my phone over the years. But by comparison, this one is huge, and I felt a little daunted about doing it well. It turned out to be just as easy as applying it to my phones. I meticulously lined it up using the provided tapes to secure it. Then I spread it down evenly as I removed the film from the back. It turned out great. The filter has a glossy side and a matte side. I chose to have the matte side facing up since I use my laptop next to the living room window. I chose a vivid background to show how nice the screen looks post-application. Both pictures are from after applying the filter. The privacy view also works extremely well.

A Must for Work From Home
This is the best privacy screen filter ever! Application was a breeze! It fits my 15.6 dell laptop perfectly and does not obstruct the view of my built in webcam that I need regularly for meetings. I have felt much less strain on my eyes immediately since applying this to my work laptop. So for those who work very long hours in the front of a laptop, donโt wait purchase it now! I give this a 10 out of 10.
