**Update** The replacement speaker came in today. I synced it with the other one and OMG!!! They are fantastic!!!! The other speaker was just defective. Having two functioning speakers makes our backyard into party central! Couldn’t be happier! I ordered a set of these. One is crisp, clear, and fairly loud. The other I have returned for a replacement. It sounded terrible, low volume, low quality, crackly sounding. Had I not bought 2 and saw what they were supposed to sound like, I would have asked for a refund. Instead, I asked for them to replace the defective one. I’m hoping it arrives with the same level of quality as the first one. I really wish they were a touch louder. They are good, but squeezing a few more watts in would have made them great. Technically, they are easy to set up and use. They connect to one another seamlessly and we’re ready to go in under 5 minutes. I let them charge initially until they were fully charged before I tried to use them. Aesthetically, they look nice. I ordered the stone color and it works for us. Obviously it doesn’t look exactly like a rock, but if placed in an environment around other rocks I feel it wouldn’t look too out of place. In retrospect, I’m pleased with the one (crossing my fingers on the replacement) but wish they were just a touch louder for that “party” feel. That being said, 2 fully working units may make all the difference in the world!

I wanted some solar speakers for our backyard in Arizona. Well these more than fit the bill. They were easy to set up and sync to my phone. The volume is more than needed, good clarity and overall sound. They match our backyard decor very well, having granite gravel rock for most of the yard. It would be nice if they played in stereo, having left and right channels.

Great concept and the products look really great in your yard, but they do not work as advertised. Sometimes the sound is clear at every adjustable volume level and other times the volume is very low and the speakers sound like a tin can. The technology just is not quite there yet. Also, these need to be manually powered on and off — there is no Remote. I do not recommend, especially for the price.

1 Year Update: I have had this product for over a year now and it has held up perfectly. I accidently left it outside during the winter so I was concerned it would be damaged but first opportunity this summer it turn on and connected to my phone without an issue. I charged it the first day I had it and the solar charge has kept the battery live ever since. Could not be happier with this purchase! We wanted an outdoor speaker for our kids play area but we have no electric in the vacinity. It was super easy to setup. Since we purchased it a month ago I haven't had less than 100% battery when getting connected. The Bluetooth is flawless, I just press the button on the back and it instantly connects. The best part is the audio qualilty. Music, podcasts, anything. It's so clear and crisp. Top quality and well worth the money.

Design First, the speaker was bigger than I thought. Granted I didn’t read the specs, but when it’s on your patio it’s less of a rock and more of a small boulder, which might lead people to wonder what a small boulder is doing on your patio. However, the size contributes to a bigger sound, which is the tradeoff. The “rock camouflage” is passable, but it’s kind of obvious that it’s not a rock. In other words, is it that much better than just a grey box? Not really. But it isn’t an eyesore, just looks a little weird. Sound The sound is definitely the highlight. While it’s obviously not the best speaker in the world (ie, not great bass), it is LOUD and really fills a space. If you had two, you’d really be in business. I tested with with Jack White No Name album and was waiting for my neighbors to start complaining. Certainly it’s an advantage that you can just leave it outside and not worry about it, and will self charge via solar panels (I didn’t get a chance to really test that.) In short, I would recommend these to a homeowner with an enough property that you won’t bug the neighbors; if you live in an apartment or city environment you might consider a smaller speaker. I will also add this speaker has great bluetooth range. I was hundred of feet away from it, and it was still reading my phone/spotify. This is a huge plus for entertaining when we are running around after kids, grabbing stuff etc.

This little speaker is great. It has good sound and easy to connect to your phone.

I really loved them at first but after one year one wouldn't pair any more and I picked it up and water sloshed inside. They were not kept in puddles, lowlying areas or anything like that. While It's been the 3rd wettest year on record in my region this year, I'm perplexed on how the water even got in.

Was great but unfortunately has stopped working. For this price it should last more than two years. I called support and unfortunately they don’t cover anything after a year. Totally reasonable but I thought it would last longer.

Bought this for my husband's birthday but honestly I think the kids and I love it more. We love having tunes playing in the backyard. The rock aesthetic makes it blend it also having it lower to the ground means we actually hear it while playing in the yard vs having to project it off the deck. The sound carries enough throughout our own yard but doesn't interrupt our neighbors.
