The media could not be loaded.  I needed something to be a little louder than my phone when I'm gardening or in the shower and this fits the bill. If it functions long-term as advertised, it'll tolerate the bumps and occasional dampness outside and the risk of getting splashed in the bath. It's reasonably priced and comes in a rainbow of colors.Likes- paired pretty much instantly- portable enough for me, small enough to take anywhere I'm going to go- magnet, carabiner and clamp mounting options make it versatile to take it about anywhere and keep track of it- good sound, I've listened to music, a Librivox recording and a radio station, and all are distinct and better than my phone- if I'm so inclined, I can get a second one to listen in stereo- on and off announcements are subtle but present (though the light also tells you it's on)- really easy to use, buttons control volume and track management- well put together, solidly madeDislikes- rare episodes of static, happened twice when using near my laptop, couldn't duplicate it- would like a little better battery life, but 6 hours is good for most days- confused that the booklet says not to use near water but it's advertised as waterproof I'm well-pleased with the sound and portability of this speaker. It's purple for royalty, as I am queen of all I survey (in my yard). It'll add a little variation when the cicadas are too loud, travel on my tool bucket, and not mind if I get sweaty like my earbuds

Big and heavy, but great so far. Took like 5 minutes to install if you like to take your time. The mounts are kind of overwhelming. I'm definitely switching them out for something slick, like RAM mounts that aren't so easy to remove. I've been waiting for Altec Lansing to make a bike specific speaker and here it is, finally. Good times.

Small in size but that does not affect the sound quality of this speaker. The magnet that is on one side of the speaker had quite the grip, no skidding or falling off where it put it. Comes with a small hook to keep this handy. I am able to hook the speaker on my backpack so I will always have it available. Light enough so that it doesn’t add any extra weight to my bag. Simple to set up and good sound quality.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought these as replacement for my Hydra mini could never get my hydro mini to successfully stay connected in tws they would end up with a bad echo because they wouldn't stay in sync or they would just unpair from each other and I'm taking them back to the store several times and then the fourth time I decided to see if I could find a firmware update no such luck they were a complete mess but the hydrotrek stay connected ntws mode and they stayed sync so they're perfect they're a lot more powerful more Bass clean clear audio they sound a lot more Fuller than not hydro mini and they have some big bass radiators on the back also I love the bike mounts I'm sure I'll use those in the future and the magnets you can stick them on the fridge or are pretty much anything that's magnetic or a piece of metal which is great and I love the stereo separation it's nice to be able to experience it for the first time because unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy it because the hydro minis tws mode was complete garbage and didn't work well at all and had a bad echo hopefully they fix that on the new hydro mini but I don't see the point in getting that since these have big bass radiators and perform a lot better than the hydro minis I had before.

I already have quite a few small Bluetooth speakers but what got me to try another is the fact that this speaker line is pretty versatile.It has a built in magnet, waterproof, loop with an included carabiner, built in 1/4" threaded screw hole, and it includes a 1/4" threaded mount to bar clamp.It also has wireless stereo pairing which is nice for a small roomI paired this with my pixel 8 pro as well as my laptop. (Fyi, if trying to pair to a new device, the Bluetooth of the currently paired device needs to be off or it'll auto connect. The only other way I saw was to force it to repair using the reset button tucked next to the USB charging port.)Volume is fairly small but decent compared to my older similar sized speakers. Sound is nice especially for the small size. At over 90% volume, distortions are pretty noticeable though. I'd probably just use it in a small room or as a personal speaker at a pool/park.I was able to get 2 Treks in speaker pairing mode pretty easily (holding power + volume up/down buttons).The primary speaker connected to the BT device becomes the left and the second becomes the right.I was also able to pair it with my hydromini 2.0. pairing also syncs the buttons between the 2 (volume, power).I put the speakers into a bucket of water and it floats as advertised. The only thing is that it floats lopsided due to the magnet being on the side and causing a weight imbalance (the mini doesn't have this issue and may be worth the extra $10). Audio does get pretty muffled if it's face down.The magnet is pretty strong and has no issues sticking onto a stable surface. The bar clamp opens fairly wide and can safely clamp onto a round bar that's .75" to 1.5" wide.Battery life says it'll last 6 hours, but I haven't gotten to test the full time.This is a 4/5 for me. For $10 more, I'd personally rather get the mini 2.0 for the louder volume, extra battery life and additional buttons as that would be a better value for my money.This is still not a bad buy/price with how versatile the speaker is and I'd consider this for maybe a younger kid that you don't want blasting their speakers too loud.
