I like this flux. It says it’s no clean but I still clean it off anyways. It doesn’t get dark and brown like some others do but it still obviously leaves a sticky residue behind if you don’t clean it off. Alcohol works best to remove the flux residue. The solder wick works well too though it’s a little smaller/narrower than I was expecting.

I typically use mg chemicals flux which is a little pricy, but I am use to how it works.I ran out of the MG chemicals stuff in the middle of a job and needed something asap. I also needed another roll of wick so when I saw this stuff I thought, why not? The flux has been fine, is seems to work well enough. Its a little thinner than the mg chemicals flux which is a downside for me, and it does not seem to clean up quite as easy. I dont say that however to criticize it, because it works fine. I think for the money and what you get its hard to go wrong and I can definitely see myself buying another syringe to have as a backup. I can see using this for stuff you can easily clean around like resistors, caps, diodes ect and using the other stuff for ic/multi leg fine pitch stuff.

The desoldering wick and soldering flux paste worked great. The paste made the desoldering wick work awesome. I was able to change out 4 parts with no issues. Each part desoldered fast and didn’t stick at all making the work painless and actually fun.

Great product, used the wick to de-solder some IC components and to clean up the pads after the fact. Note that using flux is crucial to ensure the solder flows properly into the pads on the board when soldering. This is a crucial product to have when you work with circuits/electronics.
