What a great invention. A ceiling fan with a light that you can install in less than a minute. Easy as changing a light bulb. This fan will make every homeowner consider more diy projects. If you know what to expect you will be very happy with this purchase. This is relatively small as compared to most ceiling fans which was perfect for our needs in the upstairs hallway. We have very uneven heat in our two-story colonial style home. The upstairs is always about 6 degrees warmer than the downstairs floor. We have always wanted to replace the two ceiling globe style lights with ceiling fans in order to get better air flow and transfer between the two floors but with the smallest of hardwired fans the blades would still hit the walls in one area. My wife was recommended this style fan by our neighbor and she, on her own, purchased and installed this in the upstairs hall. I did not even notice the fan at first, but I did notice how much cooler the second floor was than usual. Soon after I saw this fan installed and realize it was the reason. One small fan made a huge difference in our 3000 sq ft home. A problem we have lived with for 20 years was solved for under $50 and 5 minutes of labor. Take a close look at the description and realize the size of this fan just so you are not surprised when it arrives. Its probably the smallest ceiling fan you have seen but it does the job. The design of the blades is also well thought out to move as much air as possible with as little power consumption as possible. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a device to circulate more air in their home. It cheap. It's easy to install and it really does do a great job of moving air. We plan on purchasing a second fan/light to replace the light globe at the other end of the hallway

This little socket fan puts out a lot of breeze. It has 5 speeds, a dimmable light and it looks great. Being able to plug it into a light socket and there you go, you have a fan and a light. So functional. Highly recommend it. And, the remote that comes with this fan is very functional and a nice size too.

I was initially only going to give this 3 stars but I did install it on one of the hottest days, in a non-climate controlled shed in Texas. The fan itself was super easy to install and started right up when I turned the power on. I made it hard on myself by putting it where there wasn't a receptacle. The remote has several options to control fan speed, light brightness and tone. It has a small hum and is barely heard. I made sure to tighten down the socket pretty well prior to screwing in the fan to make sure there was no shaking. It lights up the shed fairly well, I hardly previously had no light, and the fan does offer some relief. Just don't expect a formal large ceiling fan you might find in a big living room.

I live in an apartment with no a/c. This fan fit perfectly into the recessed light right above the couch where I sit to watch TV. Moves the air above so I feel a breeze right where I sit. I have no complaints.

I got this to get some circulation in the garage. Everything works as expected. It fits well and even had an extender if needed. It did wobble some with the extender but no more than a regular fan. I ended up not using the extender however. I opened it up and installed it immediately. It was very easy to install. It has good air flow and different speeds. It is efficient and worked well with the remote. I could see this being used on a screened in porch or a basement or for us it would even be nice in our tornado shelter closet. I could even see us using it during summer power outages with our back up battery and a lamp for circulation.

Do not let the size fool you, the socket light fan has great air flow, it is very quiet. The light and the fan has several different setting options. Very well worth the money. It's just as simple as installing a light bulb

We can’t sleep without a travel fan so having this makes a huge difference. Fits in any standard light socket, and makes a powerful breeze. The memory mode and extra bright light are also very nice!

I installed this fan over our washer/dryer. It is small and works nicely in the utility room. The light is bright and works well in the space. My wife is delighted to have the fan.
