AM FM Portable Radio Plug in Wall or Battery Operated

My sister asked for an AM FM portable radio when she was in the hospital. It is small enough to sit on the hospital bed table and could be so very quiet that only she could hear it and not disturb anyone else and it had great reception even in the hospital, with all those thick walls. The color is bright, pretty and cheery. The sound quality much better than you would have expected from such an inexpensive radio. I was glad for the comfort it brought her.

I’m old school. I like my radio, not my phone. This is a small, portable unit that runs on electricity and batteries. While it may not be “surround sound,” it has good tones and volume. It sits on the counter and is perfect for my small space. I haven’t connected it to Bluetooth or all that jazz. Just an old school sound and ease! Gets the stations and works without “techno.”

I am very pleased with the radios I ordered. They arrived a day earlier than scheduled. They are a good value, are easy to to use, have a good sound and the the selected station does not 'travel' (move on the dial). I placed them and plugged them in as soon as I opened the shipping envelope. I really like the color, too. I also like the fact that the adapter plug is removable if you want to use the radio with batteries.

This is a basic radio and is fine if all you want is to listen to news or music. No clock, not digital tuning (you have to dial in the station). It has good sound clarity.

I am more than happy with my purchase. It has clear reception, picks up lots of local stations, small and perfect for my office.

Been looking a small radio for a while this one is great for the price, functionality, and sound quality, this is a great unit. The ease of use is great with a larg tuning knob and small for on/off plus volume knob all in one saving space. It has lasted me for a while so I do highly recommend this unit and it seems very stable as well.

I bought one of these radios for my 9-year-old, and like it so much I'm getting one for his twin sister, and one for myself. A small, portable radio is just what I need to make me feel that I've stepped back into the 70s and 80s of MY childhood. (and that doesn't give the seller a right to label me "elderly." I'm not happy about that mention in the description for this product! LOL) This radio is good for anyone of any age! It sounds clear and picks up all stations, even without the antenna extended. It's compact and easy to take about, which I appreciate. Runs on four AA batteries, or comes with a separate power cord--not the kind that tucks into the back of the radio. Just a basic, handy little thing to have.

I take it to drive in movies all the time! The sound quality is great and the battery lasts a long time. Very user friendly.

Love this little radio. Just sitting on the counter, not taking too much space. Enjoying it while cooking!
