Albion Day Neutral Strawberry Plants - Large Berries and High Yields - Bare Root Strawberry Plants from Hand Picked Nursery (15)

Strawberry came in time, very healthy, I am very happy. Roots were strong, big, well developed. All plants were big enough to plant. Compared to other company same strawberry- this one is stronger and healthier. Despite hot summer in Mississippi- 115f in shade today- I got everything in good condition, in box, well packed( not in plastic envelope). I put roots to water with ice, with little fertilizer EC 1.4, pH 5.5, 22c - in 2 hours roots were ready for planting. I show photo of what I got, first hours condition .. and 2 days later… roots got leaves already despite hot days!!!

I ordered 15 Albion strawberry bare roots. I ended up receiving 20!!!! Every single one of them are healthy and growing nicely. Their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend them.

Ordered 15, received 18, which was nice. Only one of them was unsalvageable, although it may still turn around. The remaining 17 are doing well in my hydroponic tower. Keep in mind that these were grown in soil, so if you’re going to be planting this in a hydroponic system, rinse them out and place them in a tower by themselves with their own nutrient water to wash away the remaining debris for a few days before doing a water change. All 17 started opening up and I’m hoping they fruit well. Highly recommend.

Planted these outside a month and a half ago. I used organic potting soil and sand as suggested in a 70/30 blend. They look perfectly healthy but haven’t grown at all. So far we’ve only gotten two strawberries total from 7 plants and they’re very small. Tried fertilizing and still no change.

These planted out very well but only survived about 3 weeks. Then one-by-one they wilted and died. I think strawberry plants must be zone specific. I'm not an experienced gardener, but only the strawberry plants I purchased from the local hardware store actually survived and produced thru the summer.

These Strawberry plants are the BEST! I grow them in pots on my deck. I put them in the garage for the winter and watered may be once during that time. They came back perfectly and now I have so many, I am considering giving some to my neighbors. They keep giving and giving all summer long-large berries which are so sweet!!!

The seeds germinated as expected, the plants come out healthy, but I had a low yield this season. This good have been my fault - I was away for 3 weeks in the middle of the season; they were a bit neglected. The fruits are tasty, better than the store bought ones. The plants thrived when I got back from my trip.

This is a review after a month of purchase. I have given several tries of strawberry from friend, not much success. But I am very happy about the bare root! Ordered 10, got 11, guess was the extra gift from seller. Roots are very strong, looked very fresh. Following youtube to plant in December in San Diego, it took only 2 days, really only 40 hours to see new leaf coming out. Just do some research to correct way to plant before getting dirty. Now early February, flowers are already there. What amazing! Picture shows how it was planted and after a couple days.
