Ramp for 42kg labrador
Got this for my dog who an op on his leg.A 42 kg Labrador. There are some good and bad to say about this. The good first: it is well designed, solid and could handle the weight of my dog. Perfect for the boot of the car.The thing that you need to know:It would not work on the rear door, the angle of the door was not wide enough for it to set up.I have an Nissan XTRAIL if that helps.Actually I have tried several times, I ended up scratching the arch by the door step.So unless your door really opens wide, don't try thisThe other thing is , because of the metal all around, open it away from the car. Also the first time I tried to fold it, I caught my hand, never do that again.Having said all that, I am happy with it, and my dog got used to it quickly.

Very sturdy, nice and wide! Great length
What I love; this is super long it’s well-made and sturdy so even for a heavy dog it’s not going to move around or shake or bend. With this even on my 4x4 the angle wasn’t too steep. What I don’t love; it is heavy, Something to be aware of if you have any issues lifting heavy stuff, also it’s supposed to be nonslip and my elderly dog slipped very badly on this several times so I am getting rid of them and getting steps instead the nonslip could definitely be better I don’t actually think this would be an issue if you was using a car with a low boot but with an SUV the angle is obviously a bit steeper so again something to consider if you have a dog with mobility issues. So these are well made, nice and wide and a good angle particularly with a normal lower car.

Really Reliable Dog Ramp
This dog ramp is well made and the hinges and folding metals are of good quality. The major bonus of this ramp is the size - it folds up neatly with 4 x hinged parts and is comparable in size to the size of a small carry on hand luggage spec. The ramp has a cleverly added clip that secures it to the clasp of the boot opener, which stops it sliding away from the car.My labrador is a heavy dog and he was quite nervous about it at first.Encouraged by a trail of treats he walked up and back down it with little hassle. It is a carpeted surface so the dog feels secure as he/she can dig their nails into the surface when walking up it.More than happy to recommend this ramp.

The finger trap
Pros- grippy nylon fabric proves tractionAngle not too steepRobustFits neatly in footwellCons- metal strips on outside are slippy and so larger dogs may miss the carpet and slip- my dog even stepped outside the ramp with one pawHeavy and unwieldy- watch your fingers as they can be easily trappedTook some time and effort and treats to get the dog to walk this plank. Be patient.

Great Ramp
Good sized ramp. Good quality. Good weight and can be handled by most people male or female.Folds out to four sections which makes it a longer ramp which is less of an incline for your dog/s. You can attach it by a clip to the boot catch to keep it in place. The Ramp is carpeted on all four sections but the carpet has been coated with a waterproof solution i think and my dogs slip a little if they go up the ramp too quickly. However i always stand next to the Ramp to over see my dogs accessing the Boot area. The only thing i would say is be mindful when handling the Ramp and folding it that you do not catch your fingers in the middle fold where the handle is. Otherwise i am extremely pleased with this Ramp and would definitely buy another.

Great dog ramp
Bought this ramp for our two dogs. Large labradoodle and medium collie. Both with arthritis. A little bit finger trapping to unfold until you get used to it. Neat to fold up though and lightweight. Our dogs need help going down the ramp because it can be a little slippy depending how 'furry' their paws are. Great ramp otherwise and easy to use.

Good but cumbersome
This is really good, sturdy ramp. My bulldog has tried a few and this is first one she’s actually used. Looks exactly as seen. Only down side is it’s heavy and cumbersome would be hard to manoeuvre whilst trying to keep hold of my dog so had to send it back.
