Ended My Mouth Pain
If you are looking through reviews to try to determine if you should try this product, read my story. A year ago, (Nov '17) I had a tooth abscess during Thanksgiving Dinner. The pain was tremendous to say the least. The hospital ER was quiet and they drugged me up good to withstand the weekend before I could see the dentist. (Sidenote: Black Friday shopping was extra fun. I'm a 37 year old woman, I bought a mermaid cozy, 3 pillows, an XBOX 1, 5 games, a TV, and I don't remember what else. The cart was heaping. My husband may have aided and abetted me in order to get what he wanted too....anyway) Fast forward a few weeks and I have a stainless steel crown because that's all my insurance would cover and it is NONSTOP getting infected. It hurts to chew, I can only chew on one side of my mouth. I develop gingivitis, constant mouth pain, when I lay down at night I can feel my heart beating in my teeth. The dentist kept seeing me back and putting me on antibiotics but the only solution they could offer me long-term was to pay $1000 to have a porcelain crown built. I have been saving up to do so but also very reluctant because the dentist hurts! And they were talking about how I had all these other cavities too...bish, please. I have never ever had a cavity in my life until this random abscess. Now I have 8? Crazy talk. So I read about re-mineralization. And I think, ok. I want to try this for a few months before I go in to have this crown put on. I've been using this toothpaste for a week. First of all, what the other reviewers say about the taste is CORRECT. It is strong, salty, and it makes my mouth burn a bit. Don't take more than a pea-sized amount on your toothbrush. Swish it around a lot before you spit. After only one week my mouth pain is gone. I can chew on both sides, I have no gingivitis, no heartbeat in my teeth, and bonus...my teeth are getting whiter every day. Now, I've always had strong enamel. I don't drink soda more than twice a year at parties, or eat a lot of sweets. So I probably have faster results than someone else would. And yeah I still gag when I brush with it sometimes but I don't care. I would brush my teeth with actual poop if I didn't have to have another cavity filled ever. Once was enough that was straight up torture. This stuff works. And it doesn't taste like poop, so bonus. Oh and one other thing, my daughter has insanely sensitive teeth which cause her daily pain to eat (she is also a no-go on soda/candy and always has been, it's just genetic) And after 3 days of using the toothpaste, the drops, and the mouthwash she is seeing a 100% improvement and was able to eat ice cream the other day. We are committed to using this product long-term. My opinion is that it is SAFE, it WORKS, and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Very effective without irritation
I bought this toothpaste because I want to support a hospitable โlaunch padโ environment inside my mouth so the naturally occurring โhelpful bacteriaโ vastly outnumber the โharmful bacteriaโ that together populate my gut making up the microbiome. Our microbiome is unique to us as individuals and has been found to play an important role in decreasing widespread inflammation in the body. The gut bacteria execute essential immune system responses to perceived pathogens ensuring sustained good health by keeping us free from illness and disease. I also would like to believe in the potential remineralization of tooth enamel and I read a review where someone claimed to have had a cavity confirmed by dental x-ray that was completely undetectable 6 months later reportedly due to the โremineralizing propertiesโ of this product! Last but not least: The flavor!! Whoa! Salty! It takes some getting used to and, honestly, I feel like the zesty burning sensation caused by the essential oils in the products is actually becoming more intense after brushing with it for ~ 2 months? Finally, my gums used to constantly feel irritated like they were scrapped up from brushing but they donโt feel that way anymore. I also started using a mouth wash that is 20% aloe Vera that is also helping to calm my gums. Overall, after switching to a childโs level soft toothbrush aka โsuper softโ, swapping out my old toothpaste for this product and replacing my mouthwash I have to admit my mouth feels a lot better!! Noticeably less gum irritation and cleaner teeth with less plaque/stains. I highly recommend that people try this toothpaste if your health goals include increased use of natural products in your self-care routine and decrease in potentially harmful chemicals, formulated to kill all oral bacteria indiscriminately, coming in contact with your mucus membranes. This product seems like a solid tool in supporting the balance of good bacteria in the body whoโs effect on our overall health. we are only beginning to understand. Be prepared to experience a new taste and texture: salty, gritty, and strongly minty but as long as you donโt expect a fake sweet sugar taste and take give yourself time to acclimate to the essential oils then I expect youโll also have a good experience. The container lasts a long time! Also, I recommend taking a moment to educate yourself re the warning related to lead content in this product: Lead is a natural component of the clay ingredient but it is NOT a type of lead that is โbio availableโ aka not absorbable by our bodies so there is no risk of harm from lead ingestion. CA law requires warning of the presence of lead to be clearly visible on product label all the same. Now go brush yo teeth!

Natural solution to sensitive teeth
Iโve always struggled with sensitive teeth. Every dentist I went to recommended Sensodyne which I was already using for years, insanely enough. I switched to this stuff for the purpose of remineralizing and natural disinfectant qualities. Voila! All sensitivity GONE, even during routine dental cleanings. I always get a good review of gum and dental health when in the past, while on sensodyne, I always had at least one cavity and significant sensitivity where I needed breaks in between teeth while cleaning. It was awful. I canโt believe this simple switch solved all my dental ailments. Taste is not delicious but I donโt care. I want natural and efficient. I also buy the dropper slurry solution from this same brand and use every once in a while. When I get lazy and decrease on flossing, I get some gum irritation when I do get back to flossing regularly but I make sure to also add the dropper solution to help minimize irritation. Works like a charm. Fresh breath, strong healthy teeth and gums, no sensitivity, and my kids telling me my teeth look white, whatโs not to love. Iโm on my third order of multiple jars. This last order was the 4 jars since now my boys are using it too.

Whitens teeth, and helps gums!
I decided to try this toothpaste because my teeth were becoming translucent, and I was really embarrassed by how they looked. I was also starting to have some gum issues and wanted something that might help reduce them. I chose this toothpaste after reading the good reviews, and Iโm so glad I did. Itโs definitely not like regular toothpasteโit has a distinct flavorโbut my teeth are actually whiter now than when I used whitening strips! My gums are healing; theyโre not completely back to where they were, but the recession has definitely stopped. My teeth also look much more opaque. You only need a pea-sized amount to brush your teeth, and for one person, the jar lasts about 1โ2 months. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I think itโs money well spent because youโll see the difference in your teeth almost immediately. I also really appreciate that the ingredients are natural. Finally, I used to have sensitivity to very hot or cold foods and drinks. After using this toothpaste for three months, that sensitivity is completely gone!

Works great!
Itโs been 2 years and I havenโt gotten a single cavity since switching (I was getting 1 per year on average for at least 5 years before trying this stuff!!). Strong taste but you only need a small amount and you get used to it over time. Well worth it and the jar lasts seemingly forever. Between my husband and I, we subscribe and save every 3 months so 1 jar should last 1 person 3m or so

fantastic!
This stuff is amazing. I much prefer this to gel toothpastes. You cannot get paste anymore. Going back to this. Much better natural flavor and cleans way better than any or the pastes on the market. Also you cannot use the entire jar compared to products in the tube which are wasteful.

which in retrospect was a really good thing, because I don't know if I would've ...
So I ordered this first and read the reviews after, which in retrospect was a really good thing, because I don't know if I would've still ordered it had I read all the opinions on this product. I had been reading up on the bad stuff in toothpaste for a long while, so I told myself that when I finish the tube of paste I had been currently using I'll get something better. Well I finished that tube about a month ago, and after realizing that I had pretty much squeezed every last drop that I could get out of it, I had no choice but to look into something that was healthier for my teeth. This product came highly recommended by one of the blogs I was reading as I was looking into alternative toothpastes. In my excitement to have found something that looked like it was everything healthy, I quickly ordered it, and only after a day or two did I go back to read the reviews, and then started getting anxious that I had made a mistake by ordering this product too hastily with everyone's complaints about the taste. But at that point it was too late, because the product had already shipped and I didn't have any toothpaste left. Well thankfully I've been using it for a month and I have to wonder what everyone's problem is with the taste. Like seriously, I don't know how much you guys put on your brush, but I have an electric toothbrush and all I do is just lightly pat it on the toothpaste and then brush. I make sure it's lightly coated, and that's really all I need to brush my teeth. Yes, the taste is salty, and it does take a little getting used to, but now, after a month of using it, I don't think I could ever go back to the sweet-tasting toothpaste I had been using until I switched. The first time I used it I looked at my teeth and thought "wow, they look so white!" which says something to me, because I never noticed my teeth being white until I started using this toothpaste. I think the salt acts like a light abrasive which gets the teeth much cleaner. The essential oils do burn a little, and there were a few times when my gums were stinging a bit. But I'm used to it now and it only bothers me if I get it on my lips, which doesn't happen so often, and even then it's not something I can't handle, especially since I'm gonna be washing it off in a minute anyways. I absolutely live this product, tbh, and am so happy to have found it! My teeth look and feel healthier, and this jar will last me a very long time, especially since I only use a tiny bit when brushing. As an aside, after about a month of using this product (and brushing with it 2x a day), one day last week I thought about how I still have a bottle of the ACT mouthwash that I never use and maybe I should get back into the habit of using. So after flossing and brushing, I rinsed with the ACT mouthwash, and aside for the taste being too sweet (and mine was the mint flavor too) I felt like it kind of just coated my teeth with blue #40 and it didn't leave the fresh after taste in my mouth the way it used to. I really regretted using it, because brushing with this toothpaste left my mouth feeling clean and fresh, while using the ACT mouthwash left me feeling like my mouth wasn't happy that I used it. After doing a little research, I found that most mouthwashes are pretty ineffective as it is, and that a lot of them upset the balance of flora in the mouth. So not gonna be using any of that again any time soon.

This stuff will destroy your teeth!!!
Look, I applaud any company that put forth the effort to provide us consumers with a natural alternative to all the chemicals we are brainwashed to use on a daily basis. I am strongly opposed to the use of flouride toothpaste because flouride is a neurotoxin that accumulates in the body over time and causes many adverse health effects. Even if flouride is good for our teeth, I don't think its worth the harm it causes our bodies and brains. So, I was looking for the most "natural" toothpaste I could find and came across Uncle Harry's Toothpaste and it seemed to check all the boxes. I wasn't overly concerned with the lead warning because I know California is really strict about labeling and I called Uncle Harry's and they said the Bentonite Clay has lead but no more than your average potato would have. I began to use the toothpaste and soon realized why it had so many good reviews.. At first my teeth felt smooth and looked shiny so initially i was satisfied with the product. Then, I continued to use the product religiously brushing every morning and night thinking im making my teeth better and better with each use. After about 3 months or so, I began to see a dark line at the base of my bottom teeth. It didnt occur to me that it was the toothpaste. I thought maybe it was from drinking my 1 cup of coffee per day that's causing it. Even though coffee has never done that before, I discontinued coffee but the dark lines persisted. So I decided to read the bad reviews on Amazon for this toothpaste and saw many people having issues with it. I wish I read the bad reviews sooner. MY TEETH ARE COMPLETELY DESTROYED!! The dark lines are cavities, there are cracks and holes in my teeth from using this toothpaste! Now I have to dish out thousands and thousands of dollars to fix my teeth all because I thought it was a natural toothpaste that actually worked. Although I refuse to give-up on flouride-free toothpaste, Uncle Harrys is literally the worst toothpaste on the face of the planet. I write this review to help persuade anyone on the fence about buying this toothpaste to run away as fast as you can. Avoid this toothpaste at all cost! Dont make the same mistake I did by destroying your teeth while simultaneously thinking you are benefiting your teeth. Save yourself thousands of dollars and dont make the same mistake I did. I encourage everyone to go flouride-free, but please do NOT buy this toothpaste. I devastated becaus ive spent so maby years building strong and healthy teeth and gums, only to destroy it completely in a matter of months. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Please avoid Uncle Harry's Toothpaste!!!

Best toothpaste!!
This is the best toothpaste! Our whole family uses it and keeps the cavities away. It tastes kinda weird the first few times but then you get used to it. Actually we really like it now, your mouth feels so clean. This is the only toothpaste we buy and use now. Love the ingredients and results.

For squeaky clean teeth
The tooth paste has a different taste. It does not taste sweet but it still is awesome and smells divine. It makes the teeth squeaky clean . Breath smells fresh for long after brushing. A little goes a long way. So though the bottle is small it will last long. I love the cute glass bottle in which it comes.
