I've had an Oral-B electric powered toothbrush for probably a decade now. It's an older model, but it must be OK because they still sell it. I bought this iO Series 2 model, not because I needed it, but because I'm currently splitting time between two residences, so I just needed a second toothbrush. I have been blown away by the effectiveness of this product! It's light years better than my other Oral-B. It has three modes and you can even teach it which mode is your favorite, so it defaults to that mode instead of making you cycle through to get to it. It has a light to indicate when you're using too much pressure--and I immediately learned that I've been using too much pressure. It almost feels like cheating to use such a light touch, but this thing is cleaning my teeth in ways I never thought possible. My teeth ACTUALLY LOOK shiny and clean after brushing. Grossness Warning: It gets stuff from between my teeth that no other toothbrush ever has, so it's not just giving a "surface clean." The only reason my review is missing that fifth star is that the handle not only has no grip or texture, it's literally slippery. It's plastic, as one would expect, but they attempted a metallic-like effect on the colored models, and it makes it hard to get a secure grip on it. The color is neat, for sure, but I'd rather feel confident that it's not going to slip out of my hand.

The toothbrush I received does not work. It was supposed to come fully charged but it did not turn on at all. After hours of charging it still does not work. I requested a refund from Amazon but UPS stated the return label from Amazon does not allow them to accept the defective product even though Amazon advised to return to UPS.. I do recommend this defective product or Amazon for providing a return label that does not work. I do not have time to keep trying at ups so will buy a different brand at CVS or Target.

Feels like I just left the dentist! I've had a Sonicare for years, but needed a new one. I decided to try Oral B for a change and I'm happy I did. My teeth feel like I just had them polished. I highly recommend.
