Perfect Privacy
I'm not going to lie, it's not the easiest thing to fit. Each one of the three windows I did have a slight crease on them. However, thankfully, they can only be seen from the outside, up close. However, other than that, this stuff is brilliant. We had a new larger window fitter due to lack of light so didn't want to be putting blinds or nets up to block the light we had just gained. So I bought this film in the hopes it worked. We only put it on the lower windows but the colour difference between the top and bottom windows is minimal. From outside, you cannot see inside at all, no matter how close you get. Even with the lights on it is still hard to see inside until it becomes darker outside than in. I now plan to use it on other windows.I would recommend this film to anyone wanting some privacy but also wanting light.

Difficult at first then perfect
I have fitted this thall my conservatory windows and doors. Tricky at first due to fitted to snug. Half way through started to get it perfect but the last bit on the roll has imperfections last 2 meters. Might have been off cardboard tube. So one of my doors has a wavey reflection compared to the other one.

Really happy with this. I bought this for privacy for a down stairs toilet and it works perfectly

Film good, tape not good
The window film itself is good, the tape you get with it is rubbish, doesn't stick for long and u have to keep checking and changing tape. I buy this annually for the film but buy additional tape on amazon. Look for hook & loop tape.

Had high hopes but it's a no
So we have sash and case windows or as I like to call them "sash and pain" they are very cute but a nightmare to clean. My idea was to stick a row of this film at the height we are from the sofa. Just to avoid that uncomfortable eye contact when folk walk past. I would say I'm not too bad at DIY but I've never tried window film so might just be user error. Read instructions and read lots of reviews before starting. The product itself was relatively easy to work with, cutting was no problem. Getting the transparent foil off was fiddly but doable. Once your windows and foil and fully drenched (soapy water) you place on the window and spray again. This is when things started to go wrong. While trying to use the squeegee provided to smooth out air bubbles your foil slides creating air pockets in the corners. The squeegee itself is not perfectly level or straight so there's a 1 inch sweet spot that actually catches the air bubbles and pockets. Once you eventually get the thing on as soon as the sun hits it the corners start to curl back off the window 🤣 🪟😭 it's a nightmare. You can still see inside from outside at the parts that have stuck in daylight and at nighttime you cannot see out at all because it turns your window into a mirror. Not what I had expected. I knew it wouldn't give privacy at night because that is stated but still....very disappointed and will now be looking for some frosted glass stickers instead. Hopefully this will save someone some time. Ps have definitely not stuck the foil on inside out because I have tried both ways and it's exactly the same on both sides.

Helped so much with the warmer days
During the warmer days it was noticeably cooler in the room where the film has been installed

Did the job well
I got this to use on a window which leads into what previously was the garage but some of it has now been converted into a gym. The window was already frosted, but it was still a bit concerning that the neighbours could see in particularly as we also have a sauna in the converted garage applying this film made a huge difference and ensured our privacy both during the day and also in the evening. They film not only provides additional privacy but it also blocks UV rays which in this instance is good as that door is facing the Sun for much of the day. I found it easy to put on and it didn't require any special fixatives or equipment.I think I did a good job of putting it up as without close inspection you really wouldn't know that it wasn't just the original glass.I think now that I've done that one I might just tackle the window upstairs which is near our ensuite shower room as I feel that would benefit from the same kind of privacy film.
