I used it to move my sofa and an entertainment stand, and it worked really well. I was able to do it all on my own without any help. My items were bulky, but not to heavy. Just a word of caution about the pry bar: I had to lift my sofa and entertainment stand slightly to get it underneath them. Otherwise, you could possibly scratch/damage them.As for the small surface area of the steel carts, I'm not sure how effective they would be for very heavy and bulky/heavy items. This set of furniture slider set is great for making it easier to handle medium/large sized items for sure.

You should be careful about the pry bar. I slightly lifted my sofa and dresser to push the pry bar underneath. You don't want to force the pry bar into the bottom of the furniture; otherwise, it may damage the hardwood floor. Again, I could do it alone as my stuff was not too heavy. Otherwise, you definitely need someone to help you.Given the small surface area of the steel carts, I am not sure how well it will work for a very heavy and bulky object such as a refrigerator. I have no desire to find it out. For the sake of safety, I never planned to move any very heavy and large objects alone. This tool makes moving medium-size and not too-heavy objects much easier and manageable without relying on a second hand. For that purpose, this is a very handy tool.

First of all these are much smaller than it shows, good thing that I bought 8 of them. The lifter, both of them, bent on first use so they were unusable thereafter and I had to use a shovel. The adhesive backed grippers came off while moving the furniture so they were unusable. Fortunately, I got it moved before the entire system collapsed and getting the things out was a monster. Believe me, there MUST be better out there, these are so teeny tiny you'll be shocked. Oh and let me not forget that the roller on the lifter crushed on first use as well.
