First Botany Cosmeceuticals, 100% Natural Arabica Coffee Scrub with Organic Coffee Coconut & Shea Butter, 20 oz

I’m happy with this product. The smell is divine. I could just sniff it all day. I tried a small pinch of it on my hands just to test it out. It does crumble, so just keep your hand cupped when applying. I didn’t think my hands felt rough before trying this out, but after using it I was amazed at how much softer my hands were. I can’t wait to apply it to more places after my shower tomorrow! The scent remains on your skin but is light. I saw other reviews saying it left their skin oily and it does a little bit after rinsing. But as it says on the container, it is made with various oils and can leave your skin with a slight residue. They also provide the simple solution to pat your skin to remove it, which worked flawlessly. I will say that my container was not full. The picture is after shaking it to remove shipping air bubbles, but before I used any of it. It wasn’t enough for me to complain, just something I noticed. Overall, I really like it!

I bought one for MYSELF & have given as a gift! I'm re-submitting my initial review from because I was very thorough with details and I think this will be most helpful for a 1st time buyer. This is a permanent fixture in my shower! (P.S. My LOVE for the scent grows!!!) I admit that I didn't read the details 100% completely before ordering, but I love using scrubs in general so one for use on cellulite & stretch mark sounded great (coffee scent, YAY)! WOW!!! I was REALLY impressed when I received it and read the labels. First, the main label on the front says that it not only addresses cellulite & stretch marks, but also spider veins AND wrinkles! I was happy when I thought I was getting a scrub that wasn't just a general body scrub, but one that addressed specific problems and your legs and body. I was NOT expecting a product that could be also be used on your face and for wrinkles!!! I regularly use an exfoliater in addition to my face wash, so although it doesn't mention that it exfoliates it obviously does being that it's a scrub. Next I read the label on the side with the ingredients. Every single ingredient is natural and are Certified Organic! There isn't one ingredient I can't pronounce or would have no clue what it is or what it does, unlike all the other products I use on my face that I thought were so great. In fact, I don't recall ever doing more than glancing at ingredients on a product because they usually don't contain anything I'd recognize or understand.I'm really amazed by this and it was really not something I was expecting. I don't know if I can use this alone as a cleanser or if this manufacturer makes a cleanser, but I intend on checking with the seller. I love the idea of using only natural ingredients on my face AND my body. Then I read the label on the side that gives a description of it's many uses and directions. So, AGAIN, I see that it does even MORE than what I've learned from the main & ingredient labels. It confirms that it's 100% natural and contains no preservatives or artificial ingredients. It's specifically formulated to target the previously mentioned flaws, but now it says that it also addresses acne & eczema! This keeps getting better & better! Caffeine from Arabica beans is blended "with highly moisturizing, regenerating & exfoliating oils, salts & brown sugar." Moisturizing and oils sounds great to me! The directions say to massage in the scrub and let it dry for 5 minutes before rinsing. It will leave a fine film that you just pat dry so it will leave our skin smooth and soft. At this point, I'm ready to hop in the shower just to try it! I can't remember the last time I was so excited try a new product (if ever, actually). I opened it and YUMMMMMY! A fabulous scent, similar to coffee ice cream, that I found really soothing and "aromatherapy" to me. It's doesn't smell as strongly as you might think given the ingredients, instead the brown sugar & coffee are blended together perfectly with the other ingredients to give it a much softer & distinct scent. In fact, I kept going back for another sniff! I would love to find a candle that had the exact same smell! The texture's appeared much less coarse than a lot of scrubs (even some face scrubs!), the sugar is very visible and it appears to be the primary exfoliating ingredient. I've had this a few days and used it in every shower. I'm not sure how frequently I should use it (another question I'll add to my list!), but my skin feels great after using it and not too dry. My skin is very fair and tends to be sensitive under normal circumstances, but I just went through 1.5 years of chemo that caused significant damage to my skin, nails & hair. I'd normally be cautious about using a "scrub" too frequently given my circumstances, but given the ingredients and the way my skin feels after using it I'm having a hard time staying away. I have to remind myself that I bought it to address some specific issues and not to replace the majority of my shower products. I'm truly blown away with this scrub! I received a discount on this purchase for my fair and unbiased opinion and I would truly leave the same review had I purchased it without any discount. In fact, I will continue purchasing this and am planning on seeing what other products they offer. I would love it if there's something that's more appropriate to use as my primary showering product that's great for my body AND face, even my poor damaged hair that's trying to re-grow! I can't wait to give as a gift to spread the love!

I have SVT and had to quit drinking all caffeine as even a little triggers a tachycardia episode. I got this scrub to work on the bit of cellulite that's developed on my upper arms since reaching menopause and was super excited about it. What I didn't realize is that you can absorb the caffeine through your skin! It didn't seem to be a problem until the time I followed it up with a coconut oil infused with a few drops of coffee extract...and that was a mistake...it definitely put me over the edge of what I could tolerate. If I accidentally drink caffeine, the tachycardia kicks in about 3 hours later. It took longer when absorbing it through my skin...but a day later I had a raging tachycardia event that went on all day long, and my heart felt "unsettled" for a couple of weeks afterward. So, keeping in mind that I added another product with caffeine into the mix and therefore this product can't be blamed entirely for my experience, I'd say that if you're a little sensitive to caffeine, you should be fine with this otherwise excellent product. But if you're super sensitive like me, just be careful how much you use. The product itself is great - everything I'd hoped for. Strong points: At first I thought it might be light on the oils, but it kept my skin moisturized and sooo smooth (I love shea butter and hadn't used a product that blended it with coconut oil before - fabulous!). Lovely light coffee smell that doesn't seem to linger too much. Loved the sea salt scrub texture - large but not too large granules that provided very effective exfoliation. I SO wish I could keep using this! It's a great product for someone who doesn't have my heart issue. I might try again (without the coffee-infused coconut oil of course!) but I'll have to wait long enough that my heart feels good and ready for it.

Amazing scrub! I chose the coffee scented one, and it smells absolutely wonderful. I wasn’t expecting such great results, my skin feels so smooth and soft. I’ll definitely be ordering the other scents too!

Smells great good scrub but it is loose and just falls off while trying to rub. Will look for something in a gel.

I had a baby 10 months ago and in the last 10 months I've tried everything (Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Palmers, Bio Oil, wraps, any and all Scrubs including a homemade coffee and coconut oil scrub) and spent SO much money and time to be still left with my same stretch marks. This was the last stop on my list. In fact, I kind of accepted that there was nothing I could possibly do. I came across this a long time ago and never purchased it because I didn't want to waste even more money. It didn't seem worth it when I could make my own coffee ground and coconut oil scrub at home (and I did many times with no results). Honestly, I don't even know why I ended up purchasing this, bUT I'm glad I did! The first use I felt like this scrub was actually doing something, AND I came out of the shower with moisturized skin, which is something no scrub has ever provided. Within a few days I could no longer see my stretch marks in the mirror (across the bathroom ) after getting out of the shower. I have to admit, the container is a little small, but it's lasted me two weeks and I use it on my breasts, sides, thighs, lower belly, and occasionally on my bottom. I even ordered another container that should be here today! I'll take some pictures and post some results for you this time around. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. It works and you won't have to waste money on other things that don't work!

I typically don’t do reviews, but I HAD to come back to this! After one single use, my strawberry skin was barely noticeable and my entire body was SO smooth! Great smell, I used the vanilla cashmere EOS after and girlies — this is the way lol. I normally don’t like having “oily” skin but the film of oil this left on my skin was thin and felt nourishing, not greasy. I also have HS in the thigh area/under the arms and this didn’t irritate my skin one bit, it actually helped! Huge comfort factor with the natural ingredients. I will absolutely be using this at least 2x/week!

My delivery arrived today. Package received with oil leakage. When package was finally opened, the lid (which was sealed with plastic wrapping) and jar were covered in oil. Finally managed to remove the seal around the lid. When I applied the product it felt familiar as I had made a similar mix with pantry ingredients but without the coffee. Product smells great despite the oil-soaked packaging but I won't repurchase this product as I'm sure I can make this again with coffee added and save $65

I used this product before and for me it is the best Coffee Scrub i ever use, especially that I don’t have to moisturize my body afterwards. It just leave my skin fresh and moist. This time i ordered 2 one for me and the other one for my friend.

I absolutely love this stuff! I have really sensitive skin but this works so well and I LOVE the rich coffee smell. This is a must try...
