i have had some eneloops for over a decade now that still hold a solid charge. despite many of my products advising alkaline, like my Bosch laser level, or my Klein depth-sensing stud finder, everything works fine with a freshly charged eneloop. the key difference is the voltage curve is different, so battery sensing products like my Meta Quest controllers will always have an incorrect reading of the battery levels, and some products like my Bosch laser level will die prematurely, but it's a small price to pay for UNLIMITED POWAHHH! now if we could get these dunce manufacturers that pretend to care about the planet to stop making products aimed at alkaline then perhaps we could have world peace.

Always great and last for years. I bought so many of these over the years and have not had a bad experience. I've only thrown maybe 2 of them away over the past 2 years because they died.

I have used Eneloop batteries for years and keep coming back for more. They hold a charge when at rest and last for years before failing.

Eneloops are some of the best rechargeable batteries ever made! If you want to make the intelligent choice, switch to rechargeables but don't choose a brand that makes other batteries, they have no interest in their rechargeables working well b/c they sell non-rechargeables as their main business. Hint: the 2 main battery manufacturers' rechargeables are pure TRASH in my opinion! Panasonic may make non-rechargeables but it's a small part of their market. I have AA Panasonic rechargeable batteries that are over 20 years old and still hold a charge. The Eneloops show similar quality and longevity. If you want to know one thing you can do that will save you money in the long run AND help the environment, move to rechargeables and choose Eneloop. But don't just take my word for it, public opinion agrees. These are a solid investment.

Good standard for a reason. I have had every brand and tested it long term. The only standing tall are the eneloops. Cannot go wrong with them.

Yes, these batteries work but when I put them in a PC mouse and they didn't work. I played around with them and got them to work but not reliably. I cannot explain why they won't work in all battery compartments but I suspect it has something to do with the way the positive tip is set into the battery case. The positive terminal wasn't making a secure connection. They will work in most battery compartments but not all.

These are the best. I’ve had this type of battery for 15 years and they still work perfectly. It is completely worth paying up for these made in Japan Eneloop battery by Panasonic. Remember alkaline AAs have a voltage around 1.5 volts and these are closer to 1.25 volts. Certain items like household thermostats require alkalines or lithiums because of the needed higher voltage. For most items, however, these are perfect and will save you a lot of time, money, and aggravation of leaky, alkaline batteries. When your alkaline batteries leak just use vinegar to clean the contact points in the item. Works fine,

I decided to purchase the Eneloop Panasonic BK-4MCCA10FA AAA after having an excellent experience with the AA version. The AA batteries performed so well in our household devices that I had confidence to purchase the AAA size. It felt like a no-brainer. Just like the AA version, these AAA batteries were incredibly easy to swap in place of standard disposable alkalines. I installed them right away in my Sony TV remote and my other devices, as their current batters died. Everything worked perfectly, I had no issues. The Sony remote in particular has been flawless with these. It’s reassuring to know they can directly replace non-rechargeable batteries without any hassle. Another big advantage is that they come pre-charged and ready to use. There’s no waiting around to power them up — just open the pack and install. Many other reviewers point out how well Eneloops hold their charge over time and how consistent they remain even after repeated recharges, and that reputation is what gave me the confidence to stick with the brand. Another important thing to not is that the charger I use for my AA also works with the AAA. Along those lines I’ve also noticed excellent charge retention. They don’t seem to drain quickly when sitting in devices that aren’t used constantly, which has been a common complaint I’ve had with cheaper rechargeables in the past. Eneloop’s low self-discharge design really makes a difference. Based on my experience with the AA versions, I fully expect these AAA batteries to last for years.
