Another great game by the legendary Stefan Feld.
Delivery was super quick. Managed to get the Essential Edition within 5 days and it was packaged well (slight damage to one of the game box corners but it's fine). All components were accounted for and assembly was easy enough (though you might need to flex the cardboard slightly in order to get the keshi tower assembled properly). The game itself is really good! I have experience with another one of Stefan Feld's greatest games (The Castles of Burgundy) and this one is maybe on par with it in terms of game flow. Initially, the game feels very open ended but you will start building a strategy based on what is available and what you have obtained. The rules are easy enough to parse if you have experience with Feld's games and everything is explained clearly in the rulebook, which even has explanations for each game tile. Overall, I really like the feel of the game as it's got a good mix of tactics and strategy. Definite recommend!
