Great icemaker for RVs!
Good quality lots of ice awesome ice maker. We purchased icemaker originally for our fifth wheel trailer. It’s incredible. We’ve had it for five years now never had a problem we do the scale occasionally with CLR. It is on the heavier side, but it is a quality machine. It’s not loud. The capacity is quite large and it’s pretty easy to use.

Best Ice maker out of 4
Sorry I couldn't get a photo, this is the best of 4 I have tried, you name it I have had my share of problems. I cleaned machine like it said to, I even cleaned it a few more times, I left it sitting open for 24 hrs prior to even plugging it in, I use it every day and have not had one problem, well except that I am light sensitive and I swear you can land a 747 aircraft because of the lights on this being SO BRIGHT! I was going to just put a little neutral nail polish over them and that would have worked perfect!, but I just took out my hole punch and used an address label which was white and already had glue on it, you may need tweezers to peel something and it fit perfect. By blank address label I mean I the ones you use in your printer, or the ones they send to you when organizations are fundraising I donate a lot so I always have plenty on hand. Now to the ice maker it produces solid cloudy ice I use a gal jug to fill it with water from my Brita filter on the faucet. In case you don't know according to Scotsman Icemakers cloudy ice is softest, they are the makers of the big machines that produce pebble ice or Sonic ice, I can tell you this ice doesn't met fast for comparison I get a coke from the only place in the world that make a perfect on McDonald's and within an hour the ice is gone! I like cold cold drinks a so I take my own Bubba Insulated Cup filled with ice and I can drink it as long as I want to without drink it being watery, I usually make my own iced tea and drink that, as you can tell I am a picky ice person I like to crunch my ice and clear ice DROVE MY HUSBAND MAD! but Not now! he says he can deal with this. I was using two bags of grocery store ice a day, at $129 a bag, bringing it home and running it through a Waring Pro IC-70 ice crusher and now I don't have to do that small or large cube makes no different I don't have to crush it any more. I made two canvas bags to hold my ice in one holds about 15lbs and one about 8 lbs that way I never run out of ice at all. You will save money! Simple to use and just wipe it clean with a soft cloth, and a trick if you do store the ice in a container is to lift basket almost out and tilt it to drain any excess water and your ice will not stick together. I think I have saved at least $400.00 so far and not to mention the time you gotta lug it in and out of the car, Buy it you won't regret it!

Makes good ice, and has a large basket, but the ice sticks together when put into a freezer
Makes good ice quickly, has a large basket so that one doesn't have to empty it so often. The machine was bigger than I was expecting, but that's how they get the large holding basket.Machine is visually appealing. My biggest disappointment is that there's just enough moisture on the exterior of the pieces of ice that they stick together into a large block if dumped into a freezer. A simple solution, though, is to dump the ice into a plastic bad before putting it into the freezer. Then the ice breaks up easily by dropping the plastic bag on the floor.

This thing sounds like a dying cat.
This machine isn't quiet in the first place due to the compression pump -- but after about a month of use, when it is producing ice, it would occasionally start squealing from what I'm assuming is the auger that pushes the ice out the top of the machine. The simplest fix for this is to turn the machine off and let it sit for a while before turning it back on. But it keeps getting worse. Now I can't make a full load of ice without it sounding like a dying cat in the first 20 minutes of operation. This machine produces good ice, but the sound drives me insane.

Love it!
Absolutely love this ice maker! I got the nugget one and it is awesome. My kids are constantly in it and getting ice all the time. It makes enough ice throughout the day that I can keep my fridge ice maker full with it along with filling many bags to keep in the freezer.

Makes ice fast
When first using this product, It didn't want to work. I couldn't find any info on how to fix it but pressing the start button again restarted the ice-making process. The only other I've had when using this device was the ice maker part went didn't get turned off one time and froze the water basin in place. I let the device sit for a few hours to let the ice melt and it was working fine again after that. The machine holds three pounds of ice and makes seven (i believe) ice pieces every nine minutes. After 30 minutes you would have more than enough ice for a drink or two if you like a lot of ice. When you go back for more ice, you probably will have more than enough ice for whatever you plan to do with it.

Didn’t last long
We had it for a year and a half and it just stopped working completely. For the price you would think it would last a lot longer
