Purchased for my mother. It's easy for her to use and let's her read almost whole pages at a time. Very easy to hold and magnifies exactly as intended. Lightweight and simple to recharge with her phone charger.

Excellent clear, undistorted, large view. The bonus, when using the light, it offers 3 levels of brightness. The handle is of a good size, and the whole think folds up compactly and fits in the provided pouch. With the handle at the side, it's a little off balance, and the light switch is easily triggered, but I quickly got used to it, and neither of those things were an ongoing problem. I LOVE THIS MAGNIFIER - GREAT VIEW.

I loved this so much I purchased two. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. They hold a long charge and the light is strong enough to see if I am looking at a small print .

I love this magnifier for its size and just-right magnification, and the handle is very useful for right-handed users. HOWEVER, I've found myself continually turning the light on, off, or brighter or dimmer BY ACCIDENT because the control on the handle is placed so as to make it not only easy, but darn near impossible to avoid touching it by accident when trying to pick the magnifier up, plug it in for charging, and just about anything else. A raised control or a less sensitive one requiring a deliberate press of the button would prevent such issues.

This works beautifully. The screen is glass, super clear and not wavy. I love using it for small print books. The light is helpful too.

For reading a book I would give it 1 star, for reading a supplement bottle to check ingredients, I would give it at least 3. Why isn't good for reading? Because of the focus, when you move it slightly the letters get bigger, then smaller, then bigger, very uncomfortable, you get sea sick just reading the freaking book. The light is another issue, just a slight touch it turns it off. Not recommended for reading. You are better off buying a magnifying sheet, I saw it once in Staples or Office Max, can't remember. I will continue to search for it.

It;s perfect! Clear.easy to hold and I love it. I'm a quilter and use it for reading patterns. So much easier!!!! It comes with a corder to plug in to charge it!
