So, this laser engraver does look nice. The price point is decent and it seems to be made with quality parts (especially the laser itself). But there were some things I did not like. I received a manual for a different laser engraver, I messaged the company through Amazon and they told me that the manual was interchangeable with both of their laser engraver models. After I chatted with them through Amazon, I emailed them because I had a question about how to mount the laser onto the cantilever. They immediately responded and asked me if there was anything they could help me with, and when I emailed back I never received a response (that was 6 days ago). I ended up watching assembly videos of models that were similar in size and wattage and I figured it out the laser assembly on my own. The assembly was relatively simple, but the instructions were very difficult to follow (I am not new to assembling things, including electronics/machines but this manual was very hard to follow, didn’t have great visual representation of the steps). I unfortunately cannot speak on the performance of this engraving machine yet (even though I would love to try to and use it). I can’t get the software to download to my laptop (this issue is because I have an old laptop, and has nothing to do with the software). I think that this laser engraver is a good starter product, but I also think that the instructions could be way better. This would probably be a good laser engraver for someone who has more experience with laser engravers than I do (this is my first one).

This is a good entry level laser engraver that will handle things like wood engraving really well, but like most diode lasers it isn’t great at cutting materials and doesn’t work well at all on metal. But that’s par for the course for budget diode lasers. For what it’s designed to do, and at the price point it’s offered, it’s a really good machine for me so far. I was able to assemble it and set it up fairly easily, even though I’m not hugely experienced with laser engravers. I installed the trial version of lightburn and have used the engraver with that software exclusively, and it works fairly well even though I’m not very familiar with it. I think if you’re mainly engraving wood, you’ll be really happy with this. For other materials you’ll really need to spend more and step up to a higher powered machine. But at this price point it’s really hard to beat and I’m happy with it.

On paper, the features looked promising, and the initial setup was straightforward. The first couple of uses were quite impressive, with the machine delivering precise cuts and engravings as advertised. However, on the third use, I encountered a major issue. Smoke started emanating from the machine, which was alarming and indicated a serious malfunction.This unexpected problem not only interrupted my project but also raised significant safety concerns. A laser engraver at this price point should not experience such critical failures so early in its usage. It's disappointing and frustrating to deal with a product that lacks durability and reliability.

Nice touch screen, works good, recommend you buy a bottom plate to protect the surface you have this on. It doesn't come with a bottom protection plate. I'm new to this laser engraving thing, so it took me a while to get the understanding of how this work and where to look for samples to make.

Screams cheap as soon as you open it, low quality build, poor packaging. There are better options available.

Me and my dad got this to make gifts for myMother and we just built it it’s very easy to built and put together and shouldn’t take u more then 30 minutes ! It’s very easy to use and is perfect for making gifts ! It works fast not too loud and feels very durable.i recommend this for anyone who wants to have fun with their dad or brothers !

This engraver is a solid choice for beginners, like myself. There is a bit of a learning curve with the engraving software, but after watching a few YouTube tutorials, I was able to get the hang of it. The machine produces very crisp and clear engravings, which I’ve already tested on a couple of different objects. Overall if you're looking to just dip your feet in the world of laser engraving this would be a good one to go with it.

It is pretty easy to use and not as complicated as I thought. It is of good quality, and the performance is well. I am surprised by its price it is perfect and I will consider buying a bigger one later for sure
