CoquusAid Steak Knives Set of 8 with Block Built-in Sharpener, 4.8 Inch

Bought this for my son for a gift. I have a smaller set and he looks at them every time he eats with them like he has dreams of one day having his own. He cooks a lot. I love my set, Cuts steak like butter

Most steak knives have serrated edges. They work great for a while, but they are very difficult to sharpen properly for the average user. I like these type because even thought they do dull after a bit, I can easily sharpen them. These knives are solid and sharp. They come with a knife block, and they look fantastic. Considering what a block alone costs, these are a really good value. I'm a sucker for good looking kitchen knives, and these don't disappoint. They effortlessly cut through steak, and I've only had them for a couple months, but they're still extremely sharp. My family uses them multiple times a week. Excellent product.

Sharp, Stylish, and Great Quality These steak knives exceeded my expectations! They are extremely sharp, cut through steaks and other meats effortlessly, and feel very comfortable to hold. The block looks elegant on the counter and keeps everything organized. The knives seem durable and well-made, especially for the price. Nice knife set! Both beautiful and useful. I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband. It cut through fried pork chops with ease. After washing, I used the same knife to slice some tomatoes. They were the thinnest tomoato slices I ever cut! Note the Damascus pattern is exacatly the same on every knife making me think it is laser etched and not true damascus. This makes sense though considering they are made from high grade stainless steel. I'm ok with that because it means they are more resistant to corrosion. They are ergonomic for both mine and my husband's hands. They look like they will be very durable and the built in sharpener should help with holding it's edge. I am impressed with the real knife design, meaning the metal goes all the way through the handle. Also the handle material seems like it is of higher quality than most. I doubt I will have issues with cleaning this knife. I don't forsee the handle getting sticky or breaking apart like other brands I have tried. The price was comparable to something I would be able to get of lesser quality at other major retailers.

These have been working extremely well for me since purchasing them. The edge was sharp and can easily be sharpened eve more, although not with the stone in the holder. They have not stained even after multiple uses over the past few months. The only negative is the built in sharpening stone is basically useless but I have a sharpener from Lee Valley that works extremely will for all knives including these.

These have a great look and feel. Sharp out of the box (it remains for me to see how well they hold their edge). Recommended as a great value purchase.
