I compared my Fox recording of the same episode, same scene and the Shout Factory edition was definitely, noticeably inferior. I have Seasons 1-3 from Fox and was hoping this box set would be at least the same quality, since none of the editions I've found so far are great anyway. It's a disappointment, because the content and complete boxed set would have been great. I returned it.

I am so glad to finally own this sitcom. I loved the fact that it has the bonus feature round table discussion with the late Bill Daily and Jack Riley. I am however, disappointed in the video reproduction quality. I do not understand why in this age of technology that we cannot have everything in HD. Some of the footage looks close to bootlegged. With that said, I still love the show and am hoping we have the remaining cast members around for years to come!

First bought Season 1 - 2. Watched them - enjoyed them. Saw this one USED. What the heck, get 'em all ! ! !I wrote a letter of thanks to Bob about 10 years ago, thanking him for all the years of great family entertainment ?Guess what ? He answered me with a hand written letter to respond ! ! ! Class guy. 89 y/o now. Last of breed.

I like having the complete series. It's amusing how social attitudes have changed over the decades since 1972. Somejokes would be considered sexist in today's PC world but the humor is gentle. I also am amazed by the '70's fashions,furniture and the simple sets that were used in the production. The color is faded, not sure if that is from the original video or film or poor transfer to DVDs. The audio seems fine. I recommend the set if you are a fan.

Item arrived quickly, just as described, I love it!

Many of the dvd’s In this set are defective. One simply froze in the middle and would go no further. On several other discs the speech and the action did not match up. I would like to exchange this set for another set in hopes the new set of discs all work. Not sure how to go about this?

I liked no advertisements. Good quality.
