Why did you pick this product vs others?: Smaller Can. Still the best foam coffee drink. Super foamy Could use more coffee flavor but the taste is good enough.

Kinda tastes like can but not overwhelmingly, I like the flavor and it’s pretty smooth! Helps me save money from not going to coffee shops everyday lol

The unheralded new recipe is a travesty. Did they think we wouldn't notice???? I've been drinking one of these a day for the past 7 or so years. I LOVED the original product. I have had it on Subscribe and Save here on Amazon for years, plus I buy it when it's on sale at Target and other supermarkets. It was THE BEST canned mocha drink and I've tried them all. It was somewhat similar to the iced mochas at actual La Colombe cafes - those are very bitter cocoa, unsweetened with a strong espresso flavor. The canned national versions were of course sweeter but the main flavor was of coffee and bittersweet dark cocoa - NOT sugar. It was subtly sweet and totally unique in the world of canned coffee drinks. There was a reason I spent well more than $1000 per year on La Colombe mocha cans, and cracking open a cold one first thing in the morning was an important and joyful part of each of my days. No more. The new flavor tastes like so many cheap knockoffs I've tried - it primarily tastes like a Yoo-hoo or a bottle of NesQuik. I can't taste the coffee and can barely taste the cocoa. All I taste is sugar. I couldn't finish the first can I tasted; that will be my last. It's truly disgusting and unbefitting of the La Colombe brand. It tastes like a "Great Value" brand drink or something you'd buy at BIG LOTS. So I have just cancelled my Subscribe and Save -- and it's hard to express how truly saddened I am to lose a product that was so important to me. I'm going to stop frequenting the cafes and buying the whole bean La Colombe products as well. This is a massive loss. There should be a rule on Amazon that if a product changes so drastically -- especially its taste -- you are notified and have a chance to opt out of the subscriptions. It is a total deception they didn't put the words "NEW RECIPE" on the package, and a crime to basically lie to their fans and customers by omitting that. For shame.

This flavor was the best to me. You don’t know you’re drinking junk til you taste the real stuff. This is it! I liked the regular & vanilla but they had too much of what tasted like an alcoholic drink to me. The mocha one did not. Made the mistake of opening to pour over ice while driving.. felt like we had opened a bottle of champagne! That would be a deal breaker for my OCD but it’s an easy fix: Shake well, then put in a COLD fridge for 24 hrs before consuming. Swirl gently when you take it out and open slowly. No more mess! The ice cold can and shaking BEFORE chilling stopped this for us. Good luck!

Idk what people are on about, the new recipe tastes amazing. I’ve been drinking them for years, and I’d been thinking recently that they were a little bit flavorless. I don’t think anything changed with the old recipe, it just felt bland after a few years of drinking it. Imagine my surprise when I got the new version and holy hell, it tastes so good. It is much more rich and chocolatey. I love it, it’s so much better. UPDATE: Okay, some time passed and they changed the formula again, but this time it was clearly some sort of quality control issue. Someone hit the nail on the head when they said it tastes like a nasty molasses mess now. Way too sweet, hints of maple syrup and enough sugar to make you gag. It is AWFUL. I even reached out to the company several times with the specific dates (anything with an exp of Feb 6 onward tasted horrible) and the numbers on the boxes and cans. They simply said they haven’t changed the formula. They did give me a refund, but it was such poor customer service or appreciation for someone who used to drink 2 a day for YEARS and has spent thousands with them. Lost me as a customer. I kept hoping that it would be fixed, but I tried one a few weeks ago with a June date, and it still seems tasted like garbage. In short: don’t waste your money unless they publicly say they’ve fixed the issues.
