I don’t have a fog machine. This works great on grass as is. I will leave the grass a little longer and experiment some more. Very bright and the stand has multiple joints to get the height just right.

Works amazingly for particle image velocimetry, which I recommend to ameteur experimentalists. I got velocity data from a glass bowl of water and glittery PearlX pigment powder, computed in PIVLab. If the laser is too cold (< 60F), it will take a minute to reach full brightness. The beam dimension if placed 6in from a white wall is 1.5ft wide, <1/16in (1mm) thick fully focused, and bright enough to illuminate a dark room and visible at least 30ft from the wall at daylight.

Worked great for Halloween. Bright and high quality and lasted through the weird Texas weather we had for Halloween!

This will make our swamp look great!!

The laser is what I wanted for a fog swamp theme and the laser helps greatly to do that.

The pictures give you a pretty different expectation than reality. It might take 4-5 of these to get the effect seen in the pictures but it was too different from what was expected.

Did what I wanted it to do! This is going to be for my Halloween display outside.
