Gurll! Is this a book? Or a wholesome meal for my life! I...I literally feel in love with this! I got turned on when he stalked her! I got afraid when he was inside the Brad's place, I got a mix of feelings when he got on his knee to propose! And Fred! Mann that little thing made me like awww!!!😭✨️

First of all. The print is great. Coming to the plot.. it's everything you hoped for when you bought it. Go for it!

4.5 OMG. This book is the perfect mix of Haunting Adeline and Butcher & Blackbird. And if you know me, you know that Butcher & Blackbird is one of my all-time favorite books . The dark side of the story is balanced out with so much humor that I was literally laughing out loud. To sum it up: Aly is a trauma nurse who's a huge fan of The Faceless Man, a guy who posts thirst trap videos of himself wearing a mask so no one knows who he is. Josh is a bit of an introverted hacker because of personal stuff, but he’s got this golden retriever vibe (yeah, hard to picture, I know). And guess what else he does? Yep, he posts videos of himself wearing a mask on the internet. You see where this is going, right? Anyway, I LOVED this book (even though I thought it was a bit long at times, with lots of monologues or scenes that weren’t really needed). I also have the audiobook, and I think listening to it will be even better and way funnier with Josh’s reactions and all the voice changes!

Josh is hilarious, spicy, devoted, traumatized and kind. Aly is annoying at times but their chemistry is great. I loved the humor, it had me laughing out loud multiple times through the book. There are some spicy parts, and a lot of seggual commentary but the story is worth reading even if it usually isn't your thing (romance usually isnt mine, but I have been finding some really good ones lately). Check trigger warnings if you tend to be bothered by some topics.

I have been ruined for other audiobooks after this one, this was soooo gooood! While it is a dark romance it was hilarious! I listened to it in bed and my boyfriend asked why I was laughing multiple times. The duet narration was everything and the voices of Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe were perfect. The story itself was also a five star, it had everything: great characters, humor, lots of spice, suspence and a great plot. Normally I finish a book in a few days but I had to savor this one, so I only listened to a few chapters a day. I can not wait to read the second book but in the meantime I will probably read and listen to this one a few times again.
