This is a fantastic TV, I absolutely love it!!! I had a Phillips TV before which lasted some time before it was broken; replaced it with a Sony TV which was OK but started going about a year ago. I brought this based on the experience of my last Phillips TV and I also used to work for the company a good time ago. Picture quality - outstanding!!! It's like watching a film every time I switch it on, I'm blown away by the quality of the pic. I even got drawn in to watching a safari live-stream with zebras drinking water yesterday, the detail quite remarkable. Easy to understand menu; superb picture. I had a Phillips sound bar before and married this up. Works seamlessly, and sounds better than it ever did (the amount of times I nearly got rid of it!). It sounds fantastic! Everything I've connected to this works somehow off the one remote control which has a dual-function keypad/number pad; it's not too large and is fairly narrow. easily sits in the palm of your hand. Apps - all good. Disney, YT, Streaming, Prime, Netflix and another (forgotten) available directly; lots of inputs (more than you can shake a stick at). Downsides; OLED - there's functionality to clear the residual image. I haven't see one but it still want's to keep on top by clearing the most minute of image - takes 10 mins of your time. Couldn't find the phone inputs for gaming tut that's possibly because I haven't looked enough. One of those buys. you won't be disappointed with. Enjoy :) <3

I’ve only just bought this 55 inch set, it’s early days so I may update in a few months .. 1st, It wasn’t the easiest to get out of the box & set up, it definitely needs two people . 2nd, The remote control is very different to any I’ve had before, so is going to take me a while to get used to it . 3rd, The tv is super fast and responsive! 4th, Remember.. the Tv will only give you as good a picture as it’s being broadcast in, ie: most apps are not full HD.. Netflix has an option for full HD which they charge for but it does make a difference and shows the screen off to its full potential! 5th, I have not noticed any blooming in the blacks which is brilliant! 6th, The sound is good but I’ve not tested to see if it’s Dolby good’ if you know what I mean . 7th, You can’t really have a soundbar in front of it as it obscures the remote receiver and it’s in front of the bottom of the screen .. 8th, love the little legs … better than big splayed out legs it feels more secure .. All in all it’s a lovely set .. I am happy with it !

DO NOT BUY THIS TV. THE SOFTWARE IS CRAP AND IT HAS MOMENTS OF JUST NOT WORKING. BUY LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. The good: Picture looks great, the ambilight feature is a cool touch, the sound is pretty good and can hook up to any soundbar also with HDMI arc. The bad: Scrolling on the remote is terrible, it takes forever to scroll through a list of folders on an attached device. The AI seems to exclusively pick the worst lighting/screen brightness setting based on what you're watching. Terrible implementation. You cannot natively rotate pictures or videos into portrait and back within the OS. I could previously do this without problem on an LG TV from 8 years ago. You cannot zoom into photos. You cannot 'jump' ahead in video files. It keeps 'forgetting' that it's connected to the internet. Through a wired connection thats permanently plugged in. Titan OS is absolute crap. Update: a few months later. 2 software updates in this time, seems to have done nothing. Also, randomly the picture disappears. Just don't bother, the sexy picture isn't worth the rest of it. Absolute crap. 2nd update: DO NOT BUY THIS TV. The picture/sound randomly disappears. I'm now counting the days until I can buy an LG or Samsung.

Absolutely blown away with this TV, read the reviews and it almost put me off purchasing it!! Upgraded from older LCD Ambilight TV and the picture on this is worlds apart, so much more clarity and contrast, colours really pop it’s honestly stunning. I use a firestick just had to get a little dongle as firestick too long to put into a HDMI socket. So glad I didn’t listen to the other reviews, the remote it’s great doesn’t feel cheap seems solid to hold not at all plasticky. Screen is crazy thin it really stands out in the room especially as I have mine wall mounted. Having it wall mounted does mean the top row of ambilights are a little dimmer but honestly I am blown away by this It has less reflection than my old LCD even as I have a surrounded by windows with bright light and it’s still so clear!! Easy to set up and instructions were clear. Seriously if you have an older Ambilight you will love this… one slight thing to note is that it no longer supports Ambilight +Hue which is a shame but not a game changer for us as the Ambilight lights up our living room anyway. Glad I upgraded, glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews as this TV is worth every penny.

Great Picture, very acceptable sound quality, relatively easy to set up with WiFi, Virgin TiVo box, Freeview and Apps for Netflix, Prime etc …BUT some difficulty setting up just terrestrial channels through the aerial. Handset takes a bit of getting used to after the simplicity of our old Samsung. Delivery a nightmare… Arrow the delivery firm first lost the TV in their warehouse and a week later somehow manage to deliver to a house 20 doors down the road! Thank heaven for honest neighbours.

Bought this TV in 48” size to pair with my PS5 Pro in a small office room and can say it’s an excellent match. TV has VRR which auto detects the signal when available and the visuals are incredibly vibrant being an OLED screen. Streaming TV shows and film in 4K with either Dolby Vision or HDR10+ (tv supports both formats) is also a great experience - the visuals in Dolby Vision HDR content especially are perfect on this TV. No native Apple TV app, but plugging in a Fire TV 4K Max stick solved this issue. Ambilight syncs LEDs on back of panel with the colours displayed on screen and can easily be disabled if unwanted. Can’t comment much on the speakers as I mostly use headphones. Overall no regrets buying this model, historically gone with Samsungs, but this Philipps TV delivers the goods and is a great quality OLED panel for console gaming and watching 4K HDR content.

The picture quality is excellent, and Ambilight is genuinely impressive. However, there are several issues that significantly detract from the experience: 1. Unreliable HDMI-CEC behavior HDMI-CEC does not work consistently. For example, when using a Chromecast to wake the TV, the TV often reports that the HDMI port has no input. Unplugging and replugging the Chromecast resolves the issue, but this happens roughly 50% of the time. A similar issue occurs with the Sonos soundbar connected via eARC on HDMI 2. While less frequent (around 5% of startups), the TV sometimes defaults to its internal speakers instead. This is still very frustrating when it happens. 2. Poor input switching design The Chromecast remote cannot cycle through the TV’s input sources. The “Source” button only opens a menu instead of cycling inputs, unlike virtually every other TV. This feels like a needless and user-hostile design choice. 3. Intermittent black screen issue Occasionally, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then returns, while the media continues playing in the background. During this blackout, there is neither audio nor video. 4. Aggressive screensaver behavior in Disney+ (TV app only) When using the Disney+ app built into the TV’s operating system, the screensaver frequently activates during normal playback. For example, while watching Bob’s Burgers, the TV repeatedly enters screensaver mode despite the content actively playing. Notably, this issue does not occur when watching Disney+ via a Chromecast, suggesting the problem lies specifically with the TV’s OS app. Overall, this TV could easily be a 10/10 product if the software were better designed. The HDMI compatibility issues and app-related bugs are frequent enough to undermine confidence in the device. At a price point of £1000+, the expectation is simple: everything should just work. Instead, these problems make a “dumb” TV seem more appealing by comparison.

Très bon produit j'ai commandé une tv oled 65 pouces série 2023, je suis très satisfait de la qualité de l'image et de l ambilight ainsi que le son. Concernant la tv pas eu le temps de fouiner pour le moment mais je peu vous assurer que c'est bluffant, j'avais une ancienne tv qui datait de 5 ans au moins TCL UHD 4K LED, et c'est le jour et la nuit, alors oui c'est cher mais regarder un peu les prix des LED à 800 euros autant foncer pour une oled vous serez pas déçu merci phillips

Nachdem ich mich entschieden habe das Gerät zu behalten, wollte ich hier "kurz" auch mein "Senf" dazugeben. Zunächst erstmal grundlegend: Der 55" TV tut was er soll: ein (sehr) gutes Bild machen - alles andere ist für mich eine Frage persönlicher Vorlieben/Gebrauchszwecke, deshalb auch 5 Sterne. Da ich doch recht lange überlegte das gute Stück zurückzusenden, lässt vermuten, das er nunmal nicht in allen Dingen so toll ist... Ich fange mal mit den tollen Sachen an: + das Bild ist wirklich spitze, an dieser Stelle möchte ich hier keine Nerd-Beschreibung geben, möchte aber zum besseren Verständnis sagen, dass dieser TV im Wohnzimmer gegen eine "normalen" auch sehr guten 43" Panasonic höherer Modellreihe (aber eben kein OLED) getauscht wurde, dies ist mein zweiter OLED, bin noch im Besitz eines LG 55", daher bin ich vom Bild nicht unbedingt total überrascht (was aber nichts negatives ist), dies ist eher der Grund weshalb ich mein wunderschönen Panasonic gegen den Philips tauschen wollte. Also nochmal: das Bild ist echt genial, normale SD Sender sind logischerweise nicht so toll, HD ist perfekt, Full-HD und 4K sind echt der Hammer. Wenn ich mich entscheiden müsste würde ich hier zwar auch den LG noch bevorzugen, da die Geräte logischerweise nicht nebeneinander stehen könnte das zwar Einbildung sein, was aber auf jeden Fall keine Einbildung ist: im ausgeschalteten Zustand sieht man auf dem Philips sowas wie schlieren oder eben kein Spiegelglattes Schwarz. Hier punktet der LG, hier sieht das Panel wie ein schwarzer Spiegel aus... Diese Schlieren sind aber zum Glück nicht im Betrieb zu sehen. Da der Philips im WZ steht sieht man hier natürlich eher das "Schlierenpanel". Nun werden sich wahrscheinlich einige Fragen, warum behält er dann den Philips und nimmt nicht noch ein LG? Hier kommen wir zum 2. (und leider letzten) Grund, was der Philips (und leider nur der Philips) richtig gut macht: + Ambilight! Das ist auch wirklich sehr angenehm, man (ich) benötigt echt kein Licht mehr zusätzlich im Raum, das Bild wirkt noch größer, das Ambilight lässt sich auch insgesamt noch alles mögliche einstellen - dies ist der Grund, warum ich mich dann doch dazu entschieden habe, den TV zu behalten, den jetzt kommen die schlechten bis geht (eigentlich) garnicht Sachen am Philips. Zunächst der +/- Ton: der Ton/Klang ist nicht übel, hab lange noch dranrum gedreht, der Ton ist auch wirklich ganz brauchbar. Was mich hier stört ist die Werbung für das so supertolle 2.1 Soundsystem mit 70W Leistung... Hier habe ich wahrscheinlich echt mehr erwartet! Ich hab eine relativ alte JVC-Boombox (40W Gesamtleistung), die klingt um Meilen besser und lauter! Ich sage das hier nur, falls jemand aufgrund der tollen Werbung hier Wunder erwartet. Es bleibt ein Flachbild TV mit gutem Klang, aber das war's. Bei mir läuft der TV über eine 5.1 Anlage, deswegen nicht so schlimm für mich. Nun noch zwei Punkte die einfach nur grottenschlecht sind: - Fernbedienung: bitte korigiert mich, aber welcher "normale" TV-User benötigt 4! Streamingdienste? Es gibt 4 Tasten für diesen Mist, aber um ins oft gebräuchliche Menü zu kommen (Bild und Ton) muss man "Klimmzüge" machen... Wäre es nicht schlauer dies nur über die App-Auswahl zu machen, die 2 führenden von mir aus per Taste, der Rest wird über App augewählt, kommen eh ständig neue dazu... Es gibt auch keine "reine" Quellentaste die sich evtl. sogar merkt was man zuletzt drückte. Drückt man die Quelle Taste kommt man in eine Auswahl in der ganz unten die HDMI-Eingänge sind, oben sind so schlaue Sachen wie TV-Favoriten (dafür gibt's aber eine Taste), TV-Kabel und TV-Satellit (nachdem man den TV eingerichtet hat, könnte doch hier eine Auswahl verschwinden, oder kann ich Satellit und Kabel gleichzeitig einrichten??? Die schlauen Techniker von Philips wissen bestimmt warum das so sinnfrei ist). Insgesamt ist eben die ganze Bedienung einfach nur der grösste Mist den ich je an einem TV gesehen habe: die -- Bedienung ist fast abartig schlecht (vielleicht kommt das einem anders vor, wenn man vorher und gleichzeitig nicht einen TV hat/hatte die einfach nur funktionierten) Sowas unübersichtliches/kompliziertes/nicht intuitives habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Hier noch zwei Beispiele dafür: - TV-Guide: wenn ich im TV-Betrieb den TV-Guide (elektr. Programmzeitschrift) aufrufe, bekomme ich zwischen den Sendern "hilfreicheTipps" zum Gebrauch des Gerätes. Hier wird meiner Meinung platz verschenkt und vor allem, wenn ich das Gerät nun schon 4 Wochen besitze und mich über die immer wieder 2 selben Tipps aufrege, was passiert da nach einem Jahr? Habe auch keine Möglichkeit gefunden diesen Mist abzuschalten. Ein Tip ist übrigens die Software des Gerätes auf neuem Stand zu halten, hier hoffe ich sehr auf Abhilfe durch ein Update... Das zweite Beispiel für sinnfreie Software/Bedienung ist das, nach 2-3 Sekunden, automatische Aufklappen sowohl im TV-Guide als auch in der normalen Senderliste. Wenn man die Sender mit der oben/unten Taste in der Tabelle durchschaltet, klappt automatisch der jeweils angewählte Sender auf wodurch aber die unteren Sender sich nach unten schieben und teilweise dann nicht mehr im Bild sind. Es klappt eine Sendungsbeschreibung auf die den Inhalt beschreibt. 1. Interessiert das evtl. ja gar keinem man ist halt nur zufällig auf diesem Sender stehen geblieben, 2. Die Beschreibung ist (platzbedingt) auch nicht vollständig, hierzu drückt man dann ja doch wieder die OK-Taste falls es einen interessiert. Insgesamt nur verwirrend und absolut sinnfrei - eben Philips... - Bildschirmspiegelung per Handy: am Panasonic und am LG konnte ich SOFORT ohne jegliche Probleme mein Handydisplay auf dem TV anschauen (nur um klarzustellen, dass es weder an meiner Blödheit oder an meinem Handy liegt), macht sich ganz gut um Urlaubsbilder ordentlich zu zeigen, beim Philips nach Stunden ohne Erfolg abgebrochen... Jetzt aber der Hammer: --- (gefühlt 10-) es gibt eine OLED Panel "Reinigungsfunktion" OLED Besitzer kennen das, ich kenne es vom LG schon (aber eben vom LG), man soll keine Standbilder, bzw. Fotos lange anschauen auf OLED-Geräten... Philips hat sich hier etwas sehr schönes einfallen lassen: unter Androhung des Garantieverlustes wird man zuerst höflich gebeten das Gerät in den Standby zu versetzen, dies kann man auch 2x oder 3x verschieben (es sei denn man ist zufällig nicht im Raum, denn es läuft ein ca. 25sek. Timer ab in dem man das Ausschalten verschieben kann), hat man es aber (ich dächte 3x) verschoben, wird man nur noch informiert, das sich der TV JETZT abschaltet!!! Dies ist wenn der TV nur nebenbei läuft sicher nicht weiter schlimm (der Vorgang dauert ca. 10min), wenn man den Film/Serie/Doku in der Mediathek / Prime/Netflix einfach an der Stelle weiterschaut auch zu verkraften... Aber man Stelle sich vor: unsere Fussballhelden schaffen es irgendwie mal wieder an einem Endspiel zur EM/WM teilzunehmen (o.ä.) und man sieht LIVE??? Da wird's grenzwertig... Muss aber jeder selber entscheiden, man kann den TV vielleicht auch gleich wieder anschallten, aber wie gesagt ist dann ein eingebranntes Pixel o.ä. im Panel könnte es sein (und es wird garantiert vom TV aufgezeichnet, wann und wie oft es seine "Reinigungsfunktion" durchführen durfte), dass es dann ein Garantieproblem mit Philips gibt. Am LG habe ich das auch schon gehabt, das er sich "reinigen" wollte, einmal in 3 Monaten??? (der geht auch nicht einfach aus...) Mein Fazit: Bild und Ambilight sehr gut, Ton gut, Bedienung das absolut letzte was ich kenne (wenn das der erste TV ist den man hat, kennt man es vielleicht nicht anders und die Bedienung ist erträglicher - hoffe auf Updates, glaube aber nicht daran) Gäbe es ein OLED-TV mit Ambilight an dem nicht Philips steht, wäre dieser TV definitiv zurückgegangen...

Ich habe den PHILIPS Ambilight TV 65OLED708/12 (65 Zoll, 4K UHD OLED, 120 Hz) gekauft und bin absolut begeistert von diesem Fernseher. Hier sind meine detaillierten Erfahrungen: Bildqualität: Die Bildqualität ist hervorragend. Der OLED-Bildschirm liefert tiefes Schwarz, lebendige Farben und beeindruckende Kontraste. Egal ob ich Serien, Filme oder Spiele schaue, das Bild ist immer gestochen scharf und detailreich. Besonders beim Zocken mit meiner PS5 kommt die hohe Bildwiederholrate von 120 Hz voll zur Geltung und sorgt für ein flüssiges und immersives Spielerlebnis. Ambilight: Das Ambilight ist ein klarer Pluspunkt und für mich mittlerweile ein Muss. Die Beleuchtung passt sich dynamisch dem Bildinhalt an und erweitert das visuelle Erlebnis über den Bildschirmrand hinaus. Es schafft eine tolle Atmosphäre und macht das Fernsehen noch beeindruckender. Besonders bei dunklen Szenen oder actionreichen Spielen ist der Effekt einfach fantastisch. Nutzung mit Apple TV: Da ich alle Inhalte über meinen Apple TV schaue, kann ich die Systemgeschwindigkeit des Fernsehers selbst nicht bewerten. Die Integration mit dem Apple TV funktioniert jedoch einwandfrei und ich habe keinerlei Probleme mit der Bedienung oder der Bildqualität. Fazit: Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem PHILIPS Ambilight TV 65OLED708/12. Die Bildqualität ist herausragend, das Ambilight ein echter Mehrwert und die Nutzung mit meiner PS5 und dem Apple TV problemlos. Ich kann diesen Fernseher jedem empfehlen, der ein erstklassiges Seherlebnis sucht, sei es für Filme, Serien oder Gaming.

Philips OLED759 Ambilight TV is an excellent choice for the price. Bought it at black friday deals and it was an excellent acquisition. With its ambilight magic it changed our living room. The picture is crisp and clear, black levels are deep and good enough, highly exceptional with HDR 4K content and unique for Philips ambilight effects. Picture can be auto chosen for every case by self-training AI embedded in its processor. It surely has some minor drawbacks like that not every video format will be played by the internal media player and you would probably need an external one but this is the case with most TV`s except probably those double as expensive as this. Its sound is also quite good and surprisingly bassy with fun audio mode, most people will be satisfied. An external soundbar is always a positive addition though. All in all excellent OLED TV. Very glad with it.
