Snake oil product and should be flagged as a scam. Tested my water as many others have and found no discernable difference. If anything this makes water quality worse by having a basin so nurture bacteria growth. Would give it a 0 if I could.

Going to be honest, not sure this will work for me. I should have realized during the installation instructions. First, don't follow the instruction that says to rinse before installing. I foresaw that water would be dribbling out of it down onto me during installation so I let it drain for a while first, and it reserves some globs of water so it still dribbled water all over me and the step ladder during. After install I tested it by turning the shower on briefly and it worked just fine, but I sit here 15 minutes later listening to my formerly non-dripping shower head drip water, and occasionally dribble a bunch as it comes out of the filter, because the filter holds water that takes a long time to empty. I'll see how long it takes to finally stop dribbling but not keen on turning my shower that was just fine 30 minutes ago into an always dripping one.

Where I live the water is extremely hard and this filter has been extremely helpful for helping my skin and hair from being damaged and being dry. The water pressure actually went up with adding this filter. It was extremely compatible with the showerhead that I already had. I don’t mind the color, but I do wish there are more options. The quality was great, and the water comes out much cleaner and clearer than it previously did. I think I got all the value out of the money that I needed.

Installation was easy, but the entire casing of the extender and the container that you put the cartridge in is plastic so when you go to tighten it with a wrench that they didn’t provide —it totally scrapes off the silver colored paint coating. Other than that the filter arrived on time and I have not tried it out on my hair just yet but we shall see. I will let you know after using it a week if I’ve noticed an improvement in my hair and skin. Our water is so hard it turns everything orange on the tiling and it makes my hair very hard to calm out. I will be able to tell within a couple of uses if the filter helps.
