Modelones Almond Nail Tips Short Clear Soft Gel Fake Press On Nails Tip

These are almost TOO short, but i am not complaining. I do want to warn anyone who has longer nail beds, to probably opt for the medium length though. I have short nail beds and on a few fingers I had to size up because my (cut very short) natural nail was peeking through. I've had them on for about a week now and so far, they're great. None have loosened or popped off, and they're not lifting near the top by the cuticle. I included a picture but wanted to say please ignore my super dry cuticles lol

These are great nails! Plenty of variety in the sizing, I absolutely love that they’re already etched inside, that saves me so much time! Only complaint from me is that they were much longer than I hoped. I like to keep my nails short and these were more medium TO ME at least. I made press ons with them first and didn’t realize how long they were until I had them on. Now after knowing, I still have to file them down some to my liking which sucks and takes up a lot of time. But that’s just my preference. All in all, these are sturdy nails and do the job!

These nails make having nice nails so easy and affordable. With just a little skill you can apply. I use the Modelone nail glue. You don’t really have to shape them at all. I have flat nail beds and these nails work well for me. I only wish the thumb nail was a little longer however that’s more of a me problem as I have a long thumb nail bed so the thumb nail appears shorter on me for that reason.

The picture is after a week & a half of heavy wear. Yard work, hand crafts, cast iron pan scrubbing, dirty stove cleaning, they even survived the contact with consistent isopropyl alcohol and fragrance during candle making let alone every other thing life requires use for hands. Super light weight, feels similar to when my natural nails are long ( I have OCD & adhd with sensory issues so this is huge for me if they’re too thick & heavy I struggle) The length is great! I text and type a lot and I do not feel slowed down. For application I 1.)cleaned my cuticles and filed my nails before applying ASP brand (from Sally beauty) bonder to each nail allowing to dry for a few minutes. 2) applied a light layer of Modelones gel to the base of the extension. 3) cured nails under lamp at 45 degree angle lightly buffed the tips for softer nails. 4) applied ASP brand gel nail polish, cured & applied ASP non wipe top coat & done! I’m pretty sure these will last a month if I let them. These will be my go to extensions! I prefer these over the Apres brand. :)

*Repeat customer. I run a small custom press on business and usually LOVE these tips. They are great quality and easy to work with. My issue is that if I purchase what seems to be the exact same box/shape/size then I get a different style. I have ordered 10+ boxes of various sizes and shapes and at some point they changed their design. But the packaging is the same! So I have clients who have set sizes and now I have to resize them with this other version of what I thought was the same product. So frustrating.
